How do you find new ideas to Teespring campaigns?

Hello friends,
Well nowadays we have all heard about teespring, selling t shirts and stuff.
I have been doing teespring 2 weeks ago and it's a good way to make money!
I have one question for you: How do you find new ideas (new niches) so you can do a good campaign? and how do you know it's a good niche and it has passionate audience?
Thanks for your replies

    You DON'T!

Why spend money testing when you can just model and profit...

Unless you're talking about trends where you can get a spike of sales in a short period of time.

There's a lot of bad advice being given on this thread.

When you see a design that's sold thousands, there's a pretty good chance it's been advertised to a lot of people and most of the target market will have already seen that design over and over again in various forms. Rest assured you won't be the only leech attempting to steal that idea and design. Instead of pulling up the rear and fighting with a bunch of other copycats for scraps, why not be the first to bring an idea to market?

Sure, there's a little money to be made using ideas that have already been beat to death, but the real money comes when you think outside the box and come up with new ideas and angles that haven't been worked. Instead of piggybacking on the hard work and ideas of others while filling the market with a bunch of cheap imitations, why not come up with your own ideas?

I can assure you that new ideas sell thousands of shirts, while copied ideas very rarely take off. I see it all the time with my campaigns. Be a leader, not a follower. That's where the real Teespring money is.

I agree with the post above to a certain extent but I have also learned the hard way not to re-invent the wheel. When it comes to T-shirts there are just some styles that will always be popular and creating something completely new is not only quite challenging for most people but it is very hard to determine if the campaign stands a chance at being successful. Either way, there are still a lot of gigs on Fiverr that will help you come up with great ideas for your next campaign.

I agree with you.you can lose money trying new ideas but when you find a winnig campaign you will win 10 times more than you have lost .

Thats exactly what i want to say why not coming up with new ideas and sell thousands of shirts rather than copying an old design and sell just a few

Best Post on this Thread so far. A lot Niches have been approached so many times that the crowd subconsciously glazes over the Ad.

Eventually you are going to have to reinvent the wheel if you want to get anywhere with Teespring

Gluckspilz gave you GREAT advice. I checked out that link and it is very easy to make similar styles created that have already proven to be BIG sellers. Go through the link that Gluckspilz gave you, pick one that you think could be improved upon and have a Teespring designer on Fiverr create a killer design for your next campaign. There are a lot of gigs for Teespring ideas and designs on Fiverr.

    I respectfully disagree.

My best campaigns have come from reinventing the wheel. I find hungry markets and create shirts they haven't seen before. When I target a brand new market, it often takes a number of shirts designs and concepts before I hit a winner, but a winning design that sells 1000+ shirts makes up for all the losers and then some.

Creating something new can be challenging, but it's worth it. Instead of following the crowd and bringing up the rear, I would much rather lead the pack. Since I design all of my own shirts, I don't worry too much about the losing designs. All they cost me is a bit of my time.

Thats what i haave said when you find a winning campaign you will gain much more than you have lost especially when you are the first to get into this market

It seems there would be a whole breadth of options to go with -- whether you focus on causes, fitness crazes, look on social media sites and see what is trending, take a funny stance on political issues. etc

Look at pinterest images. There are a lot of good ideas floating in that space. Check out the slogans and create new one of your very own. Do not copy. Still, you can see what is super popular due to the number of repins. Like that is a give away. Also, you can check out Google images.

I'm not a "Teespringer", but I thought that Google trends might give some insight as to what's hot. You can check by country to narrow down the market. Even if you just get one or two ideas, it could be worth a look.
