right now i am basic. I cant submit more articles since i first have to wait for a upgrade so i can submit more. The above reads like you can become platinum member without paying just by submitting enough good articles????

If you submit 10 good articles that meet the editorial guidelines, you will almost certainly be upgraded at no cost. It is only the premium membership that you pay for if you want it.

  I think you might have to apply for the upgrade once you reach the articles and state why you are worthy. I am sure that's what I had to do.

  Just last week I received an email saying I am now upgraded to platinum status, I was pleasantly surprised since I didnt request it. I had sent in maybe about 10 articles not all at once. So... maybe its automatic after you get approve for so many.

  It is certainly possible. All you have to do is submit good material and request an upgrade. Sometimes they may just give you a shot of twenty five more but this is fine as well. Follow their guidelines and you'll be there in no time flat. Also it doesn't hurt to write them a good reason why you deserve to be upgraded, many people overlook this.

oh..i see where my confusion is. Platinum <---> Premium. Is there a reason to buy "premium" if someone already has platinum?

Platinum works just fine - you'll get your articles published really quickly - so no need to spend any money on the Premium service.

Premium lets you schedule when your articles go live and they get approved pretty much immediately.

But mine usually get approved within 24 hours on platinum and while it would be nice to schedule publishing times, $500 or so a year is definitely over the top.

You can upgrade to platinum membership if you have posted 10-15 good original article without any cost.

Hi Georg,

I basically hit my 10 articles limit for my basic account, had them all approved, and sent an email to their support asking them to consider my application for an upgrade to platinum. I was approved within 24 hours without a hitch.

Prior to my upgrade, my articles took as long as a week to go live, but now they usually go live within 24 or at most 48 hours.

when you hit somewhere between 15 and 20 you will
be upgraded to the platinum membership free.
