This isn't something I have done, yet. But, since you've mentioned it here, I'm sure others will be trying it out now.

I don't think it would work as good as facebook advertising, anyway after your post I'm also going to check the CG to see if anyone submitting their ads in order to crack this method for profit.

Yeah, Facebook advertising seems to be where it is all at, but there could be some good profit on Craigslist if looked out for and properly advertised. It all depends on the shirt I guess.

Yeah exactly, Facebook ads are the proven way to market youe t shirt, be sure that you know how to target, if not you will waste a lot of money

How can you target on CraigsList? You really can't, and you will be spinning your wheels, CL is mainly freebie seekers, and freebie seekers don;t spend much money. Stick with what works FB, try targeting small niches like partnering with non profit organizations, you can design the Tees and split the profits, while organization helps promote shirts to there FB supporters, trust me I have non profit and nobody is doing this....Good Luck...

Yes, that is the one big issue with craigslist... you can target maybe a city or a area, but you can't get the laser targeted traffic you are really looking for.

Might still work though, especially with posting of local sports teams etc.

At some point, if you're relying on Craigslist to earn money, you will get shut down. Lots of busy bodies on that site who are going to be very happy to report you for promoting what amounts to affiliate products. Stick with Pinterest or Facebook for this type of promotion.

Hi , since you not from the US (i guess) , so its better if you try to get a PVA ,you can even buy it ,just google it.
main thing is that you dont give up , if you cant post or if your post going ghost just try in a diffrent way,try with a diffrent email, or try to get a good US proxy , once your post is up,you gonna gets allot of traffic.
    Good luck !

Possibility of this method working is really very low as CL can't provide laser targeted traffic like FB or Pinterest. Better stick with the one that works and have been tested, keep the seed money for testing new ads. This way your chance of lose will get lower.

We have had a great success promoting teespring tees on facebook groups.
Here's the exact message we use for Facebook groups:

Give this a try and let me know how it goes

I don't see a problem with throwing an ad up on CL. It's free and shouldn't take much time. You can even just link it to a facebook post and maybe get some interaction on the post.

"IM Workers", is it possible to contact a facebook group admin without being a group member first?
