Help with google trends please

Hi All I have been using the google trends tool I find it to be great for random hot trends.

I was wondering if there is a way to look up trends for a specific niche and find out whats hot in there. So for example weight loss and check the trends for whats hot within the niche and the same for other things like movies and software

Use trends.google.com and search for your niche. Make sure you are logged in to your google account and you will be able to get more GEO targeted data like sorting results by county and state.

I tried what you suggested however I can not get specific results. I mean what I want to do is find out what the hot products and what people are looking for in certain niches- so for example what software are people looking for and whats the most searched for - or something else

any help would be much appreciated

I sometimes check ebay Pulse @ eBay Pulse: United States trends, hot picks, cool stuff and popular searches on eBay.com alongside google trends, when looking for hot niches!

hi thanks for the advise - I have checked it out however it isnt very specific- I was looking for something that would show specific trends in specific niches.

For example the ebay tool shows that mobile phones xbox 360 and various other products are hot however it doesnt narrow it down to what mobile phone or whats the hottest thing in the mobile phone niche
