Default Warriors, I need help with editing an image...Any Ideas?

Hello warriors...

Thanks for taking the time to read this post. I'm looking for the best way to edit a particular image. It's a picture of me, and I'm looking for a way to completely white out everything in the background....leaving just me of course. Hope that makes sense

Is there a way to do this without having to go out and buy expensive software? Do you know of anyone who might be willing to help me out? It's two different pictures.

Thanks so much!
Derek

Just download a copy of paint.net - it's free. Play with it and your photos.

Yes, good ideas. I have paint.net...I guess I just haven't figured out exactly how to do with it what I wanted.

The last thing I want is for it to end up looking like I did it, if you know what I mean

Thanks very much though

Derek

You could do that in about 5 mins with photoshop using the magnetic lasoo tool. Might be best just to look in the hire a warrior forum and get someone to do it for you (if you want a neat finish)

I can help you with all of that type of stuff cheap if you're not willing to get the software yourself. I'll even help you with this one for free as it shouldn't take too long(that is if you don't mind me seeing your picture). I'm working up the posts to be able to PM so drop me a line and I'll get back at you as soon as I can.

New here... But Iv'e used Paint.net and it works great! The tool I used in it is called the "Magic Wand", and lets you create a transparent background.

Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions or a helping hand...especially Alex (ASM Marketing) who fixed the images for me and did a fantastic job!

One more reason I love this place!

Best of luck to you all....
Derek
