Is squidoo acquisition a game changer?

I recently received an automated e-mail from Squidoo stating that the Hub Pages acquisition was going to be finalized the latest, the beginning of October.

Squidoo has been used many times for its authority in order to rank and sell affiliate products(bum marketing), and also for giving 'link juice' to other sites.

But, since Hubpages and squidoo have virtually combined, does this open up an opportunity for people to make their marketing efforts that much easier?

Discuss.

Not so much by anyone who knows what they're doing, really ... and not by anyone who knows that all Squidoo external links were "no-follow", anyway.

And do you think that people trying to do that might perhaps be just a little bit connected with the demise of their site?

It simplifies things. There's one less "Web 2.0" site on which people don't own and control their own pages to lead some people into imagining they can benefit by using it rather than by using another page/site of their own to do whatever they were trying to use Squidoo for. http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8109462

    Nothing to discuss really.

As has been mentioned for several years on this very site, revenue share sites are NOT a stable or safe way to make money online.

If you're playing around and you enjoy making a few dollars change per month, by all means go ahead.

But if you're planning on building an *actual* business you should move away from sites such as Squidoo, Hubpages, etc before they collapse completely.

    Cheers,

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.
