How to promote a non-profit?

I had a strange email this morning. This is how it goes

"Hi: I have a non-profit organization "Canada speaks.ca I am 70 year old female. I had great dreams for this Org., but I am not well and would like to give it to Canadians How will you be able to let Canadians know about this non-profit and to have them be a member and take it over Please give me some suggestions. Thank You Dia"

Now I don't know what to do with this. Is this legit. I checked the blog and that was last updated in 2008. Site looks kind of dilapidated.

Any suggestions.

99.99% sure it is a scam of some sort. Legitimate organizations don't do business that way.

I agree, this email is 99.99% a scam, if it came to me, I would simply send it to trash.

Let's imagine that I am in a position where I put up ads so that people find me and ask me for marketing their sites.

Mostly startups, small to medium internet businesses get in touch with me.

My question is how to help this lady? I have never done anything like this.

What's your role and why did they contact YOU?

Are you Canadian or something at least?

If it sounds interesting to you...what's the worst that can happen if you reply? Why not check it out?
