Hello mates, I am using PayPal for over 10 years and after 3-5 times cheated by thief, l was unhappy about PayPal.
Yesterday l wanted to buy a guest post service from a guy on WF that's cost is around 800-1000$ and he asked upfront payment from me.
I asked the guy to send me a bill and explain in the bill if he wont provide me guest posts he will refund me.
Than l asked to PayPal if its secure to make payment and if its possible to get refund if the guy doesn't provide me articles,
What paypal said is, if l dont buy physical products from physically lunched websites that they don't guarantee any refund.

I am completely sad and unhappy with PayPal. And if l can find any alternative that secure me for digitally products and services, if any service can make me refund for uncomplicated trades l want to use that company.

Please advice me any payment gateway for secured money transfers that l can get refund without worry if some1 want to cheat me.

    Google Wallet.

    WePay.

    Authorize.net

    Skrill.

    ProPay.

    Dwolla.

Heard good things about each service but I only use PayPal myself - so it might be worthwhile waiting for another Warrior to share thier advice - or search "Dwolla review" for example.

    Peace,

I am using Authorize.net and they have dedicated a team member to my account who has helped every step of the way with setting up the Merchant Banking. I highly recommend them.

If you are looking for a secure way to transfer goods you might want to check with Escrow.com, they are used for the secure transactions on sites like Flippa.

I would contact them and find out their exact stance on digital goods though.

Don't forget about Payza. They even accept Bitcoin now.

Look at it from their perspective, though: they have to say that, because if people take the $1,000 and clear it out of their PayPal accounts and "run", they don't want to have to pay the money out themselves, and with simple, personal accounts, they've done no "vetting"/"security" at all, and are a ripe target for all sorts of fraud, aren't they?

If you pay by credit-card (including if you pay PayPal by credit-card), you can do a charge-back, if you have to.

It's a problem. For both sides of such transactions. Understandably.

    Other options include ...

    (a) staged payments, to reduce both sides' risks (you pay $100 per time, say, as the work's delivered/performed);

    (b) an "escrow" service (safest, and most expensive, and probably not appropriate in this case).

Since you're talking about a guest-posting service, it may be possible both to provide the service and to pay "a bit at a time", to reduce the risks?
Neither side has nearly so much to lose, if you do it that way.

    .

I think a situation from my experience will help you to decide a little.
In about year and half ago I was duped by some "friend". Well I was in need of PayPal money and because at that time PayPal didn't support my country only solution was to exchange money with someone who have both, PayPal and Payza.
***I needed money to buy software, so it was digital product.
I have found some 'friend' to whom I transferred about $100 on his Payza, and he needed to pay directly to my seller via PayPal. That of course, never happened. I have contacted their support, make a dispute and explain everything in details (even the part with money exchange which is against their TOS). After exchanging a few messages they returned $100 back to my account balance on Payza. We had, me and 'fraud guy' meet in three, together with Payza representative where we exchanged a few messages. I explained very well the situation and attached some screenshots of our Fb conversation.

Sorry for bigger reply, but I explained in shortly but descriptively that they capable to return the money for digital goods, even though I broke their TOS.

    Regards

It's not a good idea to rely on things like PayPal; transactions can be reversed, and balances can be frozen. It's much better to use money that can't be clawed back, and rely on creating a financial incentive for honesty. Don't just send money and hope he follows through; research his reputation, and insist on using a trusted escrow if he seems sketchy. You should have used the Web-of-Trust. It's foolish to send first without a GPG contract, and a contract from a nobody (someone not in the WoT) isn't worth much anyway.

among ewallets.. i guess Paypal is the safest Bet... there are some more like Payza, Skrill etc... but i would never recommend them over paypal.
I would rather ask you to use your credit card since you can claim a refund or file for a chargeback in case of any problems.

Wait.. why is it a good thing that your customer can charge-back? Wouldn't you prefer making that decision based on your own judgement? There is rampant fraud committed with credit cards and PayPal; their policy is to assume the customer is right and make the retailer eat the costs.

    Hi!
Paysera payments are worth attention. I had really nice experience with them when one of my purchases was not delivered and the seller did not respond to any of my emails. I bought a physical product, however, not from an actual web-site. Perhaps you could contact their customer service to find out more about terms and conditions of refund... They were really friendly.

Paypal can be worse, but honestly there is still now no equal alternative like paypal. If you want to run a successful business you must have to have paypal.
