I'm in the process of setting up my PLR business and doing a little more market research...

I will be writing high quality, unique PLR content which will revolve around several different niche markets. My question is....how do you use PLR?

I will start by offering article packs of 10-15 articles per pack but was wondering if there was anything else I could offer to make my packages more enticing.

I appreciate any feedback on this.

If you are offering niche specific article packs then you could also offer mini-site templates alongside the pack, perhaps as an upsell. A simple header and footer graphic could be the minimum for a mini-site template.

Thus we could take the pack and create a mini-site on the niche topic with minimum effort and of course if you are limiting the number of packs you are selling then this will become even more attractive.

Actually I like that idea a lot and that would be so easy for me as a web designer...however, I wonder if mini-sites are still viable?

I use PLR as a starting basis for all my re-writes. Rarely does the finished product that I put out even remotely resemble where it came from. I find it quicker to do it this way then start from scratch. You could also add email packs to your offerings.....10 emails in a series for $9.99, that sort of thing.

Yep, I do the same. Almost completely rewrite it. At the very least I rewrite the beginning and the end, maybe keep the original for the middle part.

It's the Prime Lending Rate (in the mortgage industry), or the Pupillary Light Reflex (in ophthalmology). To be honest, I'm wondering whether I possibly dare ask what a LABE shop is ... but you know how it is: I'd hate to get the whole thread deleted just over one innocent little question ...

          .

Yup, that's the problem with abbreviations - they can really stand for so many things, it's hard to figure out most of the time.

If I understand the concept of this particular "PLR", it's like an open source license for software - someone else can reuse it? I could see where it could build your authority or brand, though only for those that purchase your articles since their end buyers would have no idea of the original author. With a repertoire of well-written articles or ebooks though, I could see where it could be profitable.

(BTW, if you go to LABEShops you'll see what it stands for - nothing sexy just "Lori Anne Brown Enterprises Shops" my umbrella for all my 30+ stores)

How to use PLR? Spin them of course. For PLR ebook, you can break it down and spin it into several articles. Then post these articles on your website/blog.

    I have:

#1 Built entire websites with it. I'm currently working on one with PLR I bought from Tiffany Lambert.
#2 Sold it (un-edited) in the form of ebooks and videos.
#3 Used it for the basis of other projects.
#4 Set up PLR website "Business In A Box" type websites.

I suggest going with videos or comprehensive "books" vs articles or short reports.

Take your best 15 articles and make them into a seven part video series.

There are many different ways to use PLR. Personally, I rewrite the content and create free eBooks for subscribers and social media fans. You can also use PLR as newsletter content, or turn it into videos, how-to guides, blog content and other types of media. If you have a PLR book or a longer post, you can divide it into small parts and share them on Twitter or Facebook.
