I would like to start writing articles

I have been studying Im for a few months now, and I have come to realise I need to spend money to make money online, Just the basic things like domain names, and hosting.

Unfortunately all the money I earn with my part time job go’s on the bills and food, if I could earn $10 a day from article writing that would pay for all my IM necessities.

I am going to start off writing articles at $2.50 per 300 word article and will only be writing for people in the warrior forum.
I know there are many other established trusted writers in this forum so I don’t If I will make any money, But as they say if you don’t try you will never know.

You'll learn lots at the copywriting forum about writing copy... not so much about writing content articles (which is what I think your post is referring to.)

When you pop over there please read the sticky post at the top of the page.

I would like to suggest that you set up a website with samples of your work - rather than writing articles for free. If you do not have a website then simply send the samples via email.

This is a good idea, however I think that he is looking to build his name and to get some testimonials of his work, because he's just starting to write articles for sale.

Yes - I understand that he is just starting out, and I'm sure he won't have any trouble finding takers for a free article or two in exchange for a review. I'm just not sure that is going to build a solid foundation for him.

Too often writers cut themselves short when they are just starting out.....which makes it more difficult for them later. And yes, I am speaking from experience to a degree here. I started out charging very low rates for my articles and then found that I had to make my increases slowly over time - when in reality I could have started out charging a much higher rate to begin with.

Good articles can be used and re-purposed in many ways, and most marketers know that. That is why knowledgeable marketers are more willing to pay for a quality article. Testimonials are nice but samples are like living proof. Rather than spending the time giving away free articles why not create some samples that you can re-purpose yourself?

It's a good idea to earn your grades by writing articles for Warriors. You will learn how to write good articles and write them fast. Then as you get a hang of the art, you can begin to focus on writing articles on just a few niches, but write better articles.

Put up a blogger blog using your name and article writing or ghost writing as the name of the blog and in its url. For example mine would be (this is not a real blog)http://article-writing-Dee-Power.blogspot.com In the side bar using the "html add function" state your rates.

Write 5 articles on 5 very different topics to use as samples. I would suggest weight loss, dating or relationships, reducing debt, acne, and Internet marketing. These are hot niches for IM. Set up a membership at associated content and submit those articles to them as nonexclusive. You'll only get maybe $2.00 or $3.00 but it's something.

Include that link in your sig line here.
