What Would Your Business "Bucket List" Be?

We've all heard of The Bucket List or what we'd like to do before we kick the 'um' bucket. But what would your top 3 Internet or business bucket list items be? Go ahead stretch your mind.

Here's the benefit of doing this fun exercise.

Here's my top 3

1.To give at least 100 hard-core gang members jobs or help start a business (legal of course).

2. To give at least 100 homeless single mothers jobs or help start a business.

3. To create a high quality product or service, give it away and leave it up to the people who received it to pay me what they think it's was worth to them.

I have a ton of things I would like to have in my bucket list. Luckily enough, several of it has already been fulfilled, and the rest just needs to be taken cared of.

I was about to say the same as you though in regards to the single mothers thing.

I think your third choice is a good thing to consider doing as well.

Definitely something I would love to try for a product of my own.

    Interesting thought!

I think mine would include opening an office in my town (I work from my home office now) and expanding to where I could offer good-paying jobs to as many 'locals' as possible.

Another would be to create a new product and sell it via infomercial.

Those are nice ideas. More power to you. I'd consider hiring convicted felons as well as I believe people can change.

I spend free time working with Habitat for Humanity - a charity that I think is awesome and makes me happy.

The psychology of this is really intriguing. There is a chain of restaurants called Panera Bread, maybe you have heard of them? They originated in St. Louis and in MO they are still called "St. Louis Bread Company". They have a location in Clayton, MO where they don't charge. If you are homeless and you don't want to pay anything it's free. They just ask for a fair donation. The thing is, this branch of the chain brings in more revenue than any other!

Social entrepreneurship is hot now. The first brand that comes to mind is Tom's Shoes.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking for (courageous) companies who do that. Because I plan to write an article for a major mag on that topic.

It makes me want to do business with Panera Bread more often, that's for sure. It takes guts for a company to do that, it's definitely not for wimps or sissies.

Many (nose-in-the-air) business "purist" would call that bad business.
