Hey guys,
I have been fiddling around with a couple of online programs to date so understand the bare minimum but I am about to launch a new product with a better marketing funnel and am hoping to get some advice on the best software or combinations of software to use to make it the smoothest and easiest.
At the moment with other products they are promoted through clickbank using mailpoet as the autoresponder.
This new program is a 3 month program delivered via a daily email. The funnel will start with a free online quiz to capture details and the results page for the quiz will double as a landing page to a very low barrier (around $7) offer to a product that is a small sample of the main program. Once they buy that original offer they will then get the main offer for the full program that once they purchase will add them into an autoresponder with the 3 months of email content.
Any suggestions on what software would do this best would be much appreciated?
Thank you.
Damian

using wordpress platform is good. There are bunch of themes that can do this for you without stress...snoop around you will get.

    though nice concept.

If your content is delivered by email then essentially all you need is a site with some sign-up pages. WordPress is fine for that - use something like the Exclude Pages plugin and a few other tweaks (noindex set, that kind of thing) to stop any pages from being indexed/found. Or use a membership site plugin if you want to get more complicated.

If your autoresponder allows you to set up rules to move people from one list to another when they upgrade, you're set to go. Not sure in Mailpoet does that but certainly Aweber does and I'd be surprised if Getresponse didn't.

WordPress should be fine for your project, you just need to optimize it to be perfectly fit for your website product.

So to get this straight, free content that will lead to a small purchase that will lead to a larger purchase, correct?

Most of the people I know doing these type of things are using Wordpress with Digital Access Pass. DAP will allow you to provide different levels as well as use it to show partial content with a sale to see the rest. It integrates with Clickbank, PayPal and others. Most of us will use OptimizePress to give us the look and feel but I have seen others do it with Genesis as well.

The other option, if you don't want to pay for it, is look at Drupal with Drupal Commerce. Longer learning curve but you can do most of that with a few free add on modules.

WordPress is no doubt a Great platform and CMS to use. The most important thing is that it is always compatible with anything.

WordPress is a great choice, especially if you're a newbie. You can use it for posting content and building your sales funnel. Just make sure you add the most appropriate plugins along with a theme that matches your product.
