Video Screen Capture While Scrolling

Hi All,

I just downloaded a free trial of Snagit.

I want to be able to capture video while I scroll live on the page. It doesn't look this can be done with Snagit.

Does anyone know if you can with Snagit or of another screen capture that can that's not too pricey?

Thanks.

Ken

I use Camtasia which is a paid software and not sure if you would consider it pricey or not. The open source version is called Camstudio, and that is free.

Yeah Camtasia is bit out of my budget for now. Have you used Camstudio? Is it user friendly?

      Thanks for the help.

I should try Camstudio some time. I had Camtasia at my day job and was familiar with it, so when I wanted something to do some side projects with I just went with what I knew.

It is free, give it a download and a try.

Snaggit and Camtasia are made by the same company Tech Smith.

(I own both and could not be happier).

While I use snaggit to copy photos and screen grabs, it has a video feature.

The last several versions of Snagit has a video feature, which will allow you to capture screen grabs of video easily.

The free version should be able to let you take a video while scrolling with out any problem.

    It certainly has that capability.

Go to the Techsmith site and see some of the instructional videos created about Sangit

If you have issues with Snaggit, you should contact their tech support.

    The support is top notch!

      Hi Albert,

I have not been able to figure how to capture video while scrolling. I sent them an email so I'll see what they say.

      Thanks for your help

Have you tried Apowersoft Screen Recorder? It's free and works like a charm.
