I have a travel site that I have had up for a little over 4 years, in that time I haven't sold a ton of stuff but a decent amount except for one vendor.

This one vendor is also the one I send the most traffic to, I have sent them a few notes asking if there is a way to check and see if everything is working correctly on there end explaining that i send at least 3 times the traffic to them then anyone else from my site yet they are the only company I haven't sold anything for and that seems odd.

After sending them 3 notes I still haven't gotten any answers from them except there automated reply saying they got my e-mail. Should I drop them and find someone else promoting the same thing or should I try and get in touch with them again.

Anyone else having trouble like this?

I don't quite understand what the vendor is providing you.

I know if I couldn't reach someone after three tries, I would drop them in a heartbeat.

Um ... er ... that would be a "yes", and a very loud and clear one.

If they won't even reply to a professional email from a business associate, what's their after-sales going to be like, if any of your subscribers/visitors (Heaven forbid) actually buys whatever it is?!

If a vendor even puts you in a position to have to ask that question, the answer is almost certainly yes.

      This is business.

Unless the troublesome vendor is your brother-in-law, you've got to ask yourself "what is he doing to help my business?" You've sent him a lot of traffic and he hasn't done diddly squat for your business.

Time is money. This is war.

Focus on doing the things that bring you money . . . not spending inordinate amounts of time on trying to ride a dead pony.
