Videos Using S3 Blurry In Google Chrome?

Hi,

Sorry for posting a techie question here but wasn't sure where to ask for help.

I have a tutorial based site that uses videos.

The videos are stored on Amazon s3 and they play on my site using the Wordpress Plugin S3 Maestro.

The quality is clear on Safari, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox but for some unknown reason the quality on Google Chrome is poor.

Has anyone ever experienced this? I have the latest version of chrome and have tested this on multiple computers in different locations.

Nightmare! I have spent about a month trying to figure out how to get videos on my site. Vimeo didnt work either, said the bit rate was too low or something (even though the videos are of perfect quality on my computer).

Thanks

Hmmm...I have not heard of this before.

I too have videos hosted on Amazon S3 and use it for a membership site and have no problems viewing the videos in Chrome.

    I use JW Player - I don't know if that's the difference?

Also - are your videos "web optimized"? Sounds like they are as you're not having issues in other browsers, but figured I'd throw that out there.

Sorry, I'm not much help - not sure what the issue really could be.

    Hi Nate,

Thanks for the response, i have no idea why it is doing this. I am just hosting regular Mp4 videos on Amazon S3 and playing them using S3 Media Maestro.

The even weirder thing is I originally used a free S3 player and the video was fine on google chrome but it didnt support Safari so went for a paid verson.
