It seems odd to me that you're going to be writing about "Internet Marketing, SEO, and copywriting" yet, you don't know how to come up with a domain...

That is exactly what I was thinking!

Saying that... he didn't say he was a branding expert... but still with that skillset a name should be the easiest thing for you to think of.

Small minds discuss names and all that [you know the quote]

I am fully prepared to do your branding for you - I'll even design your site and logo - but I'm expensive... but a design, branding and copy by me converts at double the industry standards so go figure

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful on this one [there has been a lot of stealing my ideas and selling them for high prices lately, heck people have even been ripping my profile and posts pretty much word for word],
      Peace,
      Gh0zt

Just use your name, or add something like SEO or IM to your first name for example JohnSEO.com

If he uses his name with a topic at the end of it he might get into a bind down the road if he wants to sell it or find another purpose for it.

Thanks for the ad. I'm sure I could never afford such perfection, but you might dupe some newbies.

I guess that's just the price of being so awesome.

You have a great opportunity, right now, to choose a name that brings into alignment - your business name, your brand name, your domain name, and what you actually do. All these can be closely tied together so that there is consistency, purpose, and a cohesive feel to your business.

To me, it starts with demand. What are people searching for that will lead them to your business? That's where the discovery of your name and brand should begin.

You mentioned you would be writing about Internet Marketing, SEO, and copywriting. All three are large markets, especially the first. Pick one and stick with it. In fact, pick one and drill down deep so you can carve out a sub-niche (position) for your business and become an authority specialist. Any of these topics can easily support a full time income.

      Good luck to you,

      Steve

Before you know it you have a list of possible domains to choose from. I can't tell you how many good (available) domain names it has helped my uncover!

Use a keyword domain name related to your topics, or you can go for a brandable domain name, go for .com extension if you are not targeting locally.
