Use of mini-sites? Still relevant?

I'm in the process of setting up my PLR business and am brainstorming some different packages that I could offer. My question is this: are mini-sites still relevant?

I've seen lots of PLR sellers package something similar to this:

- eBook
- 10 articles
- 10 auto-responsers
- a mini-site

As a former web designer, putting mini-sites together would be easy to do and could compliment my PLR business very well but before I start on it, I would like to know if any of you marketers out there still use them?

You can sell them sure, but only if you make people believe they are still useful lol.

In other words, think of something else

I just bought one a couple days ago and have it up and receiving traffic.

    So, yes.

    Certainly.

Mine all start as mini-sites (and very small mini-sites, at that). I tend to write 2 articles per month (sometimes even 3) per niche, and I gradually add those to the sites as I go along. So by the time I've had the site for a year, it will have an extra 30 articles on it, in addition to the 3 little pages it started with. (I don't know how much it has to grow to "no longer be a mini-site"??). But all my websites start as mini-sites. I've bought some before, and I could easily buy some again.

But they work, yes - they can work fine, for affiliate marketing. As long as their primary purpose is to collect the visitors' email addresses and build a list.

(If I bought a ready-made one, I'd probably gradually want to change the articles I bought it with, and substitute my own, but I will say that because I'm an article writer).

    Yes, of course - definitely.

I'd want to re-write the ebook, as well. I need whatever I give the subscribers in exchange for their email addresses to fulfil all these objectives (and there's no way one provided with the site can do that, for me!), but that's not a big job, or a big deal.

If you're asking as a potential service-provider, you can certainly sell "packages" like that. But I wouldn't overdo the "content" you're providing with them, because many purchasers really will want to re-do that for themselves, anyway. So, from my perspective the content isn't really worth much, but I don't mind paying for the site, as long as it's a clean and simple and subdued design that doesn't scream "marketer"!

Mini Site still worked however it is not a fast and freeway to see results in a long run and like Alexa has mentioned it will only worked at it's full potential if you primarily collect emails on it.

Meaning there is more steps you need to follow. Do more research on list building so you know how to leverage them.

Minisite is just a small portion of building a solid internet bussiness.

I would purchase a package like this provided the niche was something I had not seen before and was all original content and only available to a limited number of buyers. I would not want to see anything similar in niche to what's already being offered and it would have to be the highest quality PLR content for me to even consider. And, with that said, I would pay a premium for good content.
