Am I going crazy?

INTERNET MARKETING

Client says he signs into his google account using THIS as the (official account) email...

info@[then a NON-gmail account]

(then a password)

I thought the only way to sign in to a google account was to use a (your) @gmail.com email address ---- no?

Please advise.

It's possible to sign in with another @domain on gmail. I think two ways are possible for this one is the google apps mail and another one is by forwarding all your mail to gmail. I use one.

Thanks -- then the next question is... I need to sign in "as him" to access his google + biz page.

He says (on the phone) he can (merrily) sign in using his NON gmail acct. email (+ a password).

When *I* try that at my home computer, it does not work!
It's to the point where he's thinking I'm an IDIOT cuz I can't seem to be able to log in, doing the exact same steps he's using.

It works for him 100% of the time -- and for me it never works!

What has he got that I haven't got? (don't say courage - please)

We've gone over it (on the phone) 1,000x.
He logs out and logs back in FINE.

When I try it -- failure!

WTF!

Please advise ----- before he fires me!

  Bingo! I believe Brent is correct. You should have an option to sign in as a different account link somewhere. You also might try a different browser or use privacy options like Chrome incognito.

It works as normal, you can sign in from any part of the world...

The thing is your client has a business account with Google, thats why he/she gotten an email account such as email@hisdomain.com

What you need to do is to ask your client for the password that he/she uses to sign in.

Edit:

tell your client to sign in with his email (email@hisdomain.com) and password, if he is able to sign in, you can also....

Or to pass all these steps, forward the email to any other desired email.

I never heard of this before. The only way I know of to sign into Gmail is through:

name@gmail.com
