    Most amazon associates who are very successful do 2 things that are working for them.

    1. They build a site that promote all sorts of products on Amazon.

    2. Then they massively promote that site to as many people as possible. Some even spend $10,000-$20,000 per month on pay per click and solo ads. For that, they can bank anywhere between $5,000 and all the way up to $20,000 in PURE PROFIT.

      Using PPC or solo ads is never a good idea for directly promoting Amazon products, because of its very short (24 hr) cookie.

      And, generally, it's also best to promote one Amazon product at a time on a content-rich website, which includes a funnel system for collecting visitors' contact information. Email follow-ups can then be leveraged to maximize conversion rates.

      Most of the successful Amazon affiliates I know progressively build online/offline relationships with their customers, and often this may lead to incrementally higher-end sales.

        That approach sounds well and good, but why do the majority of Amazon WSOs not teach that method, but organic SEO instead? It's probably too complex for most people and for advanced marketers.

          It's "what works", very successfully - unsurprisingly, of course, because it's also completely in accordance with the fundamentals of successful affiliate marketing.

          Call me a skepchick, but might it be because the majority of Amazon WSO's are sold by people the majority of whose incomes are derived from selling WSO's rather than from the Amazon Associates program?

            I've recently bought a WSO on Amazon, and the seller was widely very helpful on getting my first niche site up. I'm just getting started with it, and it was nice at how amazing he was at teaching me. Just because the seller makes money from WSOs it doesn't mean they don't make money about what they're selling. Of coure, this is just my experience, yours may have been different.

          Until recently, I've been selling Amazon and several other affiliate products the same way for over 16 years, and amassed a fortune.

          My marketing model actually was rather simple in concept: establish an "authoritative presence" by syndicating articles in relevant and high profile publications, build niche lists, then recommend selected products queued in an autoresponder sequence to subscribers within these niche lists.

          The article syndication marketing concept predates WSO guru "teaching" and even Google itself by many decades, but now is considered avant-garde for growing numbers of newly enlightened affiliate marketers.

          Seriously, I suppose you could continue to knock yourself out selling one-off low end products using organic SEO. But there are actually many, many effective ways for promoting Amazon products. And IMNSHO, the most common methods discussed here on the WF and in WSOs (ie SEO and "review sites" ), actually are the least effective methods because you are forced to work with either lower competition key words or accept low conversions and ROI.

          Top Amazon affiliates (at least the ones I know) rarely use SEO, PPC or even "review sites" at all. To earn the big bucks (5-6 figures per month is really not uncommon), you need to have repeat buyers and engage your customers, often on a personal level. To get around Amazon's 24-hour cookie, I promoted products to my subscribers on a daily basis.

          Most of the sales lead to incrementally higher end products, and as the sales cycle continues I would add in other communication channels such as social media, webinars, telemarketing, direct mail, local seminars, and personal (face-to-face) sales.

          What I recommend is to go back to the basics of writing real articles, for real people, and submit them to real publications. And learn how to market, such as using an engaging funnel system to process traffic generated from your articles.

          The "article syndication marketing" model is not just about writing articles, but includes active marketing practices. Writing articles for online/offline publications that are already targeting your audience is a classic and time-proven marketing method for driving massive highly convertible traffic.

              Actually, I'm no longer doing this actively as of the beginning of the year due to other business interests. But absolutely; social media was included as a significant adjunct of multiple communication channels for targeting demographics, engaging customers, and even clinching some very large orders.

      that means I not the one also feel so...thought "crazy"

      as others also using solo ad for amazon stuffs instead usual MLM , etc niche

    What worked best for me was to have a blog and write HONEST reviews on the products. Most of the products I recommended were in a similar niche since the blog was rather niche specific. It's similar to what others said already...you just have to build up relationship with the readers. I don't really go for selling "as many products as possible" for Amazon affiliate marketing. But it may work for some people. You should definitely try these methods out regardless though. You'll see what works best.

      So for me I never use Solo ads because of the cookie situation Amazon has in place. Generally find what works best for me is promoting it through

      • My Own Website
      • Youtube Reviews
      • Using this automateted software (Best Leads caputure)
      • Reddit
      • Twitter
      I only promote products that has 4 stars and has more than 100 unique reviews. I also tend to have a low, medium and high price product, that way I maximise my market.
