What is the best, statistically/results proven way and/or method to promote affiliate sites? - as an affiliate, not product owner

Who do you imagine would collate, review, quantify and monitor such objectively evidential statistics, Ian? And how would they do it?

Different approaches work well for different people, according to their own attitudes, beliefs, experience, skills and tastes.

Some affiliates believe in pursuing many promotional avenues simultaneously; others prefer to experiment briefly with many and then concentrate their efforts on one method to the exclusion of others.

Many affiliates have either a financial or an emotional investment in believing that their ways are the best ways and that everything else is less productive.

If you browse this forum at some length, you'll find many different viewpoints and experiences discussed in fine detail, but you have to interpret them for yourself.
