I need a FREE WP gallery plugin that does THIS. Recommendations?...

Client complains that when a pic is clicked on to enlarge within gallery, the caption lettering is way too small + I agree!

The gallery plugin I now have does not give the ability to change the size of the font of the caption(s).

Also I need the gallery plugin to NOT have those (newer) different "options" about how you're gonna click on the image (like, in gray, a LINK icon, and another icon (choice)).

I feel having options about what clicking on the pic will do will only CONFUSE people. I need the plugin to ONLY just have the option for just-plain clicking on the pic and having it (and the caption) ENLARGE (+ pop up) right inside the gallery, with a clear "X" or "close" to show how to minimize the pic again + return to the gallery. (lightbox effect etc.)

So, I want a VERY simple plugin -- but one that allows me to enlarge the text size of the caption when the pic is clicked on and viewed.

Any recommendations?

    You can always change the caption size with some custom CSS.
    Find out the ID or Class of the caption and put in a custom CSS with a font-size change.

    Tim,

    I hope you find, what you're looking for - I don't know that such a plug-in exists - at least I haven't seen such.

    As an alternative, you could embed the caption into the image and then upload two images instead of one (Image A for the small pic and Image B for the enlarged view). The font size for Image A might be 12pt and for Image B 72pt. You'd just have to play around with your first images to get the size of the font compared to the size of the image just right. From then on, just use the same formula.
