So I was wondering the other day what about promoting a product on clickbank, typically a offer with a low front end, and instead of collecting the email address, collect the visitors phone number then hire a telemarketer from elance and provide them with a script, What is your opinions on this and do you think this could work?

Why would you take something that is online (email address)...offline (telephone number)...to sell something that is online (clickbank product)?

That doesn't make too much sense to me - keep the same medium.

Plus, people are more willing to give out their email address as opposed to their phone number.

I think the whole idea is very bad.

What works really good, based on our previous and existing campaigns for digital products (mainly premium software products and electronics / office equipment / business tools, though we also have many campaigns for financial assistance services like banking services and binary trading options, but we don't have any Clickbank vendor / affiliate client) is:

Inbound Marketing =>> Perhaps you can continue trying to get the emails of your opt-in takers and Clickbank product buyers, and to also display your premium support phone / email / live chat support services in your website, in order to notify and remind customers / subscribers / viewers that they can get premium support for their relevant questions, concerns, inquiries, issues, etc. from your phone / email / live chat support agents, and for your agents to upsell your premium product/s and renew premium subscriptions upon resolving their concerns...

It doesn't make sense to me to do this when you are offering low end product. I think that you should do the same old way - get their emails and do email marketing. Because you can make few sales through telemarketing, but I think that you don't need short term profits, that's why you need their email addresses. It will be much more cheaper for you and it is proven to have the best ROI.
And you can ask for their phone numbers also and use this when you have already built trust and want to sell a high ticket product. I think that this will be better for your business and your earnings.
