Default Simple Machines Forum - can I password protect a board?

That would be ideal, and I'm not seeing any way of doing that.

Second best would be to at least set all posts in that board to require approval.

I've spent about two hours searching for how to do this and searching for places that tell me how to do this.

The instructions at the simplemachines.org, specifically here:

Post Moderation

Suggest it's easy to require moderation. Except the only option I see to do that is one that gives members the permission to moderate.

I see nowhere that requires posts to be moderated before they're approved.

I have a forum that will be for regular members. Yet I also need to have a board on that forum exclusively for my mastermind members. I want all members to see this exclusive forum, yet to not be able to get into it, ideally, or second best would be that they can't post or reply to posts within it.

How can I accomplish that?

The SMF install is up to date.

Thank you!

Warmly,
Dan
