How to Attract Super Affiliates?

Hello,

I have recently launched a private associates program for our community website and am looking to attract 'Super Affiliates'.

I have read in other threads that 20% of your affiliates will make sales and the rest will remain dormant, how can i attract the 20%? or 'Super Affiliates'?

I understand that they may be reluctant to join as it is a private network, however i have taken all steps i can to ensure its integrity.

I look forward to your responses,

Thanks,

    It's an understatement.

In the long run, if you have statistically significant enough numbers of affiliates (that's a big "if", of course) I think you're quite likely to find that 5% of your affiliates make 95% of the affiliate-referred sales.

"Reluctant" is a huge understatement, I think. The majority of serious, pro-affiliates are very unlikely even to be willing to look, on that basis. This is something that matters hugely, for a large number of different reasons (some immediately apparent and others not).

    Proven conversions of targeted traffic
are probably "the big one", but generally by having a product, sales page and affiliate network set-up which satisfy all their selection criteria.

I think the "sales page" ones listed in this post (which was actually written with ClickBank products in mind, but that doesn't matter much because the principles are similar elsewhere) are probably reasonably representative of the concerns of serious, pro-affiliates: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post2161932

Also, using the forum's search function to find a list of former/recent Main Marketing Forum threads with the word "affiliates" in their titles will produce for you a listing of the 500 most recent ones, and reading through 10 or 20 threads is almost bound to produce (a) the obvious essentials, and (b) some new ideas and suggestions you haven't thought of.

The Associates program has been active just over 12 hours...

*No sales have been made through referral links as yet.

How much are you making? What is your conversion rate? What is your epc? How do you drive your traffic?

offer them 100% on the front end and 50% on the backend.

You then get access to them when you bring out another product, and you get to build a list of buyers much faster.

You say you launched private associates program for our community website. Not really sure what you mean here, but if it is a public launch, have you posted your launch on any of the JV launch sites? Have you introduced yourself to any of the big players in your niche? Have you PMed the big players in your niche and offered them a review copy? Are you active on the Facebook groups where they hang out. It's all about networking.

I spent months before my first launch building relationships.

    Networking it is!

Any advice on where to start? Methods to finding niche 'big players'?

    Thanks

If its not through a network you need to prepay super affiliates. Who in their right mind is going to send thousands of dollars of traffic on net terms until they trust you to pay?

Also your performance must be tight. For example on email, click to conversion of 2% requires a payout of $25 to be low average performance. So you need to figure out your conversion rates and payout and see if it performs. It has to perform. Most offers don't because the program owner just picks payouts they like, not ones that are necessary for affiliates success.

    Three letters...

    E P C

Have a funnel that will put money in your affiliates' pockets with ease... Make people money and they will bend over backwards to promote your products.

I'd go with a JV broker, that's what I do...

If you get a good one you can plug into their existing network of relationships and can make some huge profits pretty quick, and set up deals with the right people. not a bunch of damn nobodies who will never make you a sale.

It about getting the right people, unless you plan on training your affiliates

I have a lot of really good affiliates who make me a ton of money each month, your getting a lot of speculation and bad advice on this thread.

My JV broker gets paid well to setup deals, my affiliates get paid good for promoting, just make sure your offer pays well, converts well, and is good before you get setup with a Broker

Going with JV broker with a good and valuable funnel is the best way to recruit "Super affiliates". Totally agree with you on that.

Otherwise you will spend time and money on something that doesn't work well.

But here is a trick too:

Go to successful affiliate page for most IM popular products ( Gsniper, Mobile monopoly, Work from home .....) then see who are / were promoting these products! They are mentionned there.

Or try to get final Jv board of product launch and set up facebook ads that target those people strictly. Out of 100 people you could get one or two that can bring you some sale but the most important is the connection to others they can bring.

The story of mouth-to-mouth. That trick works well for me too!

BUT if you don't have budget to set up those FB ads, just add them as friends to establish a relationship not for selling at the beginning but precious asset for long term success!

Warning : this one takes times.

      Hope it helps
      Thanks

    Make it worth their while.

Best way to attract super affiliates is to promote them first. They will then return the favour.

Also, as mentioned above, EPC. I don't know what niche you're in but the big players I personally know within the IM/Make Money/Bizz Opp niche wont promote unless they get around 1 EPC.

If after sending initial traffic to your offer and they are not getting around the 1 EPC mark, they will simply stop promoting.
