Paypal Button Warning...
First, if you put something up for sale using a paypal button, here or anywhere.. first, be sure to name the button in paypal. Paypal will automatically save your payment buttons and you can always go back to edit them later.
Which brings me to my point. If you raise the price on whatever you're selling, be sure to go in and EDIT the button you created. DO NOT just 'create a new button.'
Here's why. A friend of mine had a book for sale. After 10 copies were sold at the intro price, the price would rise.
Rather than edit her button, she just created a new one at the higher price.
Although she changed the links in the offer itself, some guy decided to actually 'save' the old payment link. And today, several days after the price went up, he went ahead and clicked on the payment link he saved. Since she did not 'edit' THAT particular button, all the original payment information was still in place and he was able to purchase through that link at the old price.
So just be sure to EDIT your payment buttons, not just add new ones or it could happen to you too.
I hope this keeps someone from 'getting caught with their pants down.'
Warmest Regards,
Marcus
