Free Coaching Programme

Hi Warriors

Can anybody tell me of or does anyone know of any truly free coaching programs? So someone who would normally charge but is doing free coaching in return for testimonials?

Thanks

The closest thing that I can find is podcasts from industry leaders. Some of these are motivational in nature.

However, they drop nuggets that really help. The interesting thing about podcasts...especially unscripted podcasts... is that people do what they do. Whenever someone is talking about their passion inevitably wisdom and experience comes through.

    Thanks!

I don't know of anyone reputable that would coach someone for free - unless it was the prize of some sort of contest. People can already prove what they know through their content without having to coach someone for "testimonials" - they're actions speak louder than words.

As jimvol has said, the best "free coaching" you will get is through their content (podcasts, posts, courses) - and sometimes, they'll respond to a question through the comments or forums.

The old adage usually applies here: You get what you pay for. In this case, that would be nothing, of course.

    Usually applies . . .

You'll often find free coaching offers around forums (use the search function) and the information imparted can be useful and can be genuine. These coaches dispense advice for two primary reasons:

    1. To get free testimonials to aid conversions to a coaching product that will soon come at a price.

    2. To encourage you to sign up to affiliate offers and, thereby, earn the coach some commission.

    Hope that helps.

Cos I would never guess a coach like you (I didnt check your profile or site or coaching but as I see info under your nick) could connect a newcomer with 2 posts like me
        So many thanks for this

        Answer to your question is
I plan to take absolute newbies and have them so successfull that they and people around them will be surprised.

I did...a couple of months back.

And I did it not for the reasons stated above (testimonials, tricking them to pay, or sell a coaching product).

I actually wanted to try the version 2.0 of a course I made and check if it will be of help to my target audience. I tried doing it myself and everything worked fine partly because I already know how to do it. That's why I needed a fresh set of eyes that's not on my list (because they too know how to do it)...

I'm thinking that if I can have him earn this 'x' amount within this span of time then I can consider my course a success.

People do sometimes just coach for the sake of helping out.

I don't think any of the good coaches out there will provide anything for free. But most of them come with 30 or 60 day money back guarantee. So it gives you a 60 day window to use that program to make some money and if you don't you can always get a refund. In my opinion its worth investing some money into yourself

mikeal... Post your questions on WF. I'll look out for them and give you a hand - and I'm sure lots of others will, too. If you can get free help, take it, as they say.

All the "free coaching" I've heard of being offered through this forum is a veiled sales pitch for various MLM and other "business opportunities", exactly as you might expect.

How would you know if they were any good? How honest would their testimonials be?

Here are some questions for you to think about: how much do you want your coach to be earning, himself/herself, before you think s/he's really "qualified" to be coaching you? Where do you want that income to be coming from? What do you think an hour of such a coach's time should be worth?
