It is appropriate to Release a Product On 3 different Platforms

I'm not sure I've ever seen this done and was just wondering if any warrior has an opinion as to if it is appropriate to release a product on say CB, JVZ and CS say within a day of each other or at the same time? Has it been done, why or why not? Was it successful that you know of? What are the challenges and pitfalls if someone attempted to do it? (Given: The product is stellar! ) Thanks in advance for your feedback.

    Many people do it.

I don't know how well they do.

I do know that very, very few (if any) serious, professional ClickBank affiliates will promote a product that also has other sales pages elsewhere, and I know why. And if you read through these threads, you will, too.

Can this be a leak for a ClickBank product?

I am pretty sure lots of people do it. Just remember if you release it here that it has to be a better deal than on the other platforms as far as my understanding of the rules here goes.

Yes, why not? Look at some CPA offers, they are across several different networks, this helps them increase exposure (and traffic and profit)

To me, this would make sense to do so. Some affiliates will only work with one affiliate network, so if you didn't advertise on that network then you would be excluding them from promotion essentially especially if they had no desire to join one of the other networks.

It depends on how you do it.

If you do it like this...

    Yoursite.com/CB

    Yoursite.com/JVZOO

    Yoursite.com/infusionsoft

I wouldn't touch your offer with a 10 foot pole.

Reason being is my cookie will only be good for whichever network I use, but if my visitors decide to go back they will go to the root address and if they buy, I may potentially lose out on that commission.

Or if you're building a list, I would have to make sure you are not engaging in any shady practices as in following up to MY leads with another processor from a different platform my traffic isn't cookied on.

For me this would apply to the typical info product or marketing software.

But in the CPA world, I wouldn't mind it as much as I do promote products that are on multiple platforms.

I even promote the same CPA offer on multiple platforms just to mitigate risk.

    So it really all depends

I've seen it done a bunch of times usually like this:

    site1.com
    site2.net
    site3.info

in other words same domain name but different extensions and you would want to keep the price the same and affiliate commissions the same. That's how I have seen it done anyways. Haven't tried it myself yet but am thinking about it to see what happens.
