The product sells for only $40 & there's gotta be a backend which is much higher priced.

Anybody know what the backend products are?

why do you assume that? The backend is probably just a massive
list of buyers who are still struggling with weight issues - ripe
for all sorts of CPA offers.

Rather than promoting the product, why don't you create a similar product, put it on clickbank, and build your own army of affiliates?

IMHO, the problem with this approach is that you NEED to be an expert in
weight loss. The human body is a complicated machine, and so is the human
psyche. Amateurs should not tinker, this can cause more harm than good.

I entirely agree with Shanon- before you start promoting a product, you should always buy it or get a copy for review. It's important that you have a clear idea of the product that you're promoting.

If you buy every product you will promote..you'd end up poor!

Fire up google..type in <product> + review...

check out the real reviews...not the ones that are from affiliates trying to sell the product..

don't waste good money when you can get the information for free...

Half of that will be water and the rest will be muscle and fat, not a good idea. but so what if they are stupid enough and you need the commission...

HOW do you find REAL reviews! MOST of the "real reviews" you speak of are probably FAKE!

I agree you really won't find any real reviews of these products anywhere. I've purchased a couple of them in order to promote and do proper reviews and I think that they are filled with accurate information but they are definitely not worth so much money. Some info products are worth $30-$50 (and more) and I now prefer to promote those.

I thought about saying the same. I am STILL trying to REALLY find my sweet spot here. I am actually toying with going with the V-diet. I get PLENTY of protein, but people say you need carbs and fat too, and carbs and fat can turn into fat.

They ALSO used to say fat is fat. TODAY, it ISN'T! They said trans fats are BAD! NOW, they say you NEED some trans fats! They said saturated fats are BAD! NOW, they say you NEED some saturated fat. Bear in mind that saturated fat is NOT necessarily saturated fat, etc...!

And eating less might make you GAIN weight! And DON'T skip meals. It is better to have MORE meals!

People SAY I am losing weight, but my weight is static, and supposedly my fat percentage is relatively level.

Don't get me wrong though. I DID lose about 42 pounds when I was REALLY trying, and over 12%fat. I lost about 4"(10cm) at the waist. I just want to build muscle easier. I HAVE gotten stronger, and my muscles are larger, but still I want to see the fat decrease a lot more.

I guess what I am saying is that the advice of skipping meals, reducing carbs/fats a lot, reducing calories to the bone, just cardio, etc... isn't necessarily the best advice.

BTW the hollywood diet I spoke of earlier DOES work. I haven't checked to see how much is fat, but some probably IS muscle. Compared to the 9 pound in 11 day it is probably better, because certain things start to happen in about 3 days. If anyone is curious, it is simply a juice fast with vitamins. OBVIOUSLY the idea is to cut back on calories a LOT! You get the water, enough sugar to avoid hypoglycemia, and vitamins, but little else. If you need carbs or fat, it should come out of your fat. If you need protein, and your liver can't provide it, it will take muscle. The liver, by some accounts can store about 2 days worh of some proteins, so 3 days is where the fun REALLY starts!

Why not partner with a nutritionist (or any other diet related
expert in the niche) so you can avoid the problem AfteraDream
mentioned above?

You create the squeeze page and design the sales funnel.
He (expert) creates the "authoritative content" like articles
for emails or for a BLOG. Then you market the product via PPC!

Everyone wins:

a) People get REAL value from their sign up (VALUE)
b) The expert makes money and "might" enjoy the process too (MONEY + FUN)!
c) Google makes money (CASH)
d) And YOU make money and control the biz (CASH-FLOW plus ASSETS)

I am sorry but this is a very poor attitude and makes me lose respect for marketers. Most of the online reviews are rigged and plainly false and so when you are just trying to make up your review based on others reviews, you are basically doing the same. You may make a few dollars but you are DESTROYING YOUR REPUTATION AND TRUST.

Earning money is all fine, but you should be a responsible marketer/affiliate. Always ask yourself, if this is a product you would recommend to your family member.
