How should I promote my B2B service: Web portal or Call Center ?

I need to start a marketing campaign to promote a B2B service.

I have to choose which marketing channel to use:

- Call center to make around 4500 calls to potential customers. Campaign duration is about one month.

- Thematic web portals, with banners, articles, and multiple newsletter to about 10.000 subscribers biweekly. Campaign duration is about three months.

The quoted price for both options is about the same.

Considering that this is my first marketing campaign, I'm posting here to have suggestions of any kind and choose the best channel.
I can't choose both options.

    Neither knowing the specialized industry that you operate in, nor the niche needs of the specific B2B market that your services can fulfill, I'd say:

    Generally speaking, inbound call traffic converts better than outbound calls; and

    Many B2B prospects are generally used to closing B2B product sales / service contracts over the phone; so

    With these things in mind, I suggest the best of both worlds, which may or may not be executed simultaneously -- You can first try to build a subscriber list that you can later on generate inbound calls from...
