Product Review Pages Disappearing?

Just curious... why is it that certain posts that talk about certain people's products are always getting deleted? Who makes that call?

It would seem that it would be a good idea to have an open dialogue about what is good and what isn't. That is a bit hard to do when when someone gets delete happy when a thread goes bad (read honest).

I know this forum isn't a place for people to 'name names'... but when people plaster their names all over their products, that gets tough.

I would much rather see an honest product review rather than the same old BS... 'Wow, <insert name of marketer that I am buddies with>, you really knocked it out of the park on this one. When I saw your price I thought you were nuts! Blah, blah, blah...

Maybe it is just me, but it seems that when someone speaks up and says, <insert marketers name> just released a pile if crap... the thread gets deleted.

I know a lot of people in the IM world are in this constant circle jerk, but how is a guy supposed to get an honest review?

    I think that we all must relize that if the product sounds to good to be true it most likely is a bunch of garbage.Most of these threads are just alot of self promotion and they get nucked all the time.

    I've been noticing a lot of my posts have been deleted by someone. This is even though I haven't promoted anything. Just made a comment here or there, just like the one I am posting now.
