What a cheesey looking site. I wouldn't spend a $1 with them for sure. Maybe if they charged more than $1 they could afford a site that looked better and all the images would work.

I didn't click on the link from the OP, but I just purchased a Canadian domain name from Netfirms for only $9.95. Previously I've paid up to $30 and more for Canadian domain names. They have a variety of hosting/website packages that seem likely to convert customers well, so perhaps that is where they are making the dollars.
