Making a site like hubpages or squidoo

Hey guys, I'm interested in making a website like hubpages or squidoo that offers revenue sharing in exchange for content. It would have to have an easy to use and accessible system for everybody to post their articles.

I'm at a loss for what kind of system to use for doing such a thing. What would you use to make that happen? Any web programming wizards out there have any advice or guidance?

    You can do that with a (heavily) tweaked Wordpress install.

    I have also seen those wordpress article directories. Do not know about revenue sharing thoug. Probably very possible.

    You will have a lot of competition. Making the site SEO friendly and society driven is the success factors as I see them.

    If you wanna start just an article directory, have a look at this:

    Adsense revenue sharing plugin (This is just the first i found, i'm sure there are others):

    ..It requires some (a lot) more work to create a full-fledged hubpages-clone, but it can definitely be done in Wordpress (I have done it before).
