Warrior Members I Use You All the Time

Hey Warrior Forum Members...

I have used you and I'm not sorry. But I'll show my thanks and give back by letting you in on a little marketing tip for making over $1,000 in 48 hours.

The other day I was in here scrolling through threads to see if and where I could help out. I caught a thread title that asked something about how to write a review.

The thread title was all I needed. I thought to myself, "Self - that's something MY list members could need."

So I quickly whipped up an answer in the form of a short report. 15 pages. Took me 2.5 hours. I stuck a $14.95 price tag on it - $1 per page.

I emailed my list with it and 48 hours later I'd made 85 sales. (That's $1270.75)

This place is bubbling over in good report ideas - just by looking at thread titles! Hell I'll even GIVE you 10 good ideas I see today in the main forum today:

1.) How to run a WSO

2.) How to run an effective article marketing campaign

3.) How to find and work with a mentor

4.) How to get experts to give you an interview

5.) How to outsource your Internet Marketing tasks

6.) How to improve the aesthetic appeal of your blog

7.) How to optimize the use of eBay classifieds

8.) How to create a high converting landing page

9.) Where to sell your websites

10.) How to Monetize a High Traffic Site

If you're in the IM niche, this very forum is a goldmine of short report ideas. If you're NOT in the IM niche, then go check out forums that ARE in your niche (on Google type in your keyword + forum).

It doesn't take too long - thread titles ONLY. Don't go in there and read through the whole thread and skim content - that's a rip off. Just let the thread titles inspire your OWN unique approach, which is what I did.

It's better that way - you don't even want to see what others say - be original.

Of course this is only ONE way to get ideas. Others I use are going to Amazon.com and looking in non-fiction. Check out the reviews - what complaints did people have? Was there something missing that I could write a short report about?

Short reports are FAST - 2.5 hours for my 15 pager. They're easy - not information overload for anyone. And they're affordable for a wide audience.

Hope this gives you some ideas - and feel free to take a quick shower if me using you made you feel "dirty." LOL

Tiff

    You're my hero Tiffany.

That post is probably one of the most forward thinking posts I've seen on here recently. Who would have guessed...take a topic from titles, create a short report....bingo!

    Brilliant!

If this is what you call using me, then slap a apron on me and call me your servant.

Very great tip. Now this will get people excited if they like that sort of thing, writing 15 pages of great information.

I myself, take the 500-word or less articles, route. Perhaps I can make my articles as stepping stones for an ebook and somehow combined them all together.

    Thanks for a great idea.

And here's another tip: One customer who bought the report said, "Where do you FIND these great products and product owners to promote as an affiliate? That's MY biggest problem."

Bingo. Another report idea I'm developing for her answer. Your list members are another great resource.

Hint: anyone new here? This is gold!!! Tiff handed you a key to the treasure and almost the shovel, too. Pay attention and you can find the real thing right here in our own forum! Now go digging!

That's an awesome idea, Tiffany! I know I could write the reports, problem is I have issues with promoting stuff, including my business. I don't have a list, at least not one that would purchase this sort of thing. Hmm, gotta think about this ...

I hate when there's a good idea and it sits there staring at me because I don't know what to do with it!!

Hey Debbie - then you take ONE of those report ideas, you make it a freebie and you build a list. That's how I built mine. I have a free report called The Multi Layered Mindset of Web 2.0 Marketing. It's a whopping 5 pages that I used to get my list rolling. It works.

    Hi Tiffany,

Great post. I think the real lesson here is:

    BUILD A DARN LIST!

Even with a terrible conversion ratio like you had (no offense) all it takes is a couple of hours and a quick email to generate more money than most people make all week.

    Kudos.

LOL No offense taken. I know when I make this very short, yet highly narrow/targeted report, that not everyone will need it. But 85 out of 3764 people (and counting since orders still coming in) needed it. Next report on a different topic might get 85 OTHER people on my list to buy, but the original 85 might snub their nose at it.

I'll take the $1200 either way

      Tiffany,

Thanks a lot for that. I run a blog in one niche and have long been using this tip, in fact I regularly participate in a number of forums in the niche (it is my passion) and use them for inspiration.

But I have really gone sub-niche for my latest blog and have been worried I wouldnt have enough info to build a list/newsletter AND run a blog. Not sure why it failed to enter my head to do this (seeing as its a tactic I use anyway) but it didn't. Reading across the forums in the subniche I see that there is still a huge amount of information I don't cover - and could do so in my newsletter

Thanks for slapping me over the head with this - guess I needed it!

Since this is a study about finding an idea and producing a product,
maybe you would want to see the whole process Tiff used?

Here is the complete email to study:
        ========

Subject: $6,178.04 in only 11 days with one simple review.

        Hi Jim!

I know two things for sure:

1.) You probably want to know how to make money as an affiliate and...

2.) You HAVE to know how to review other people's products in order
        to succeed.

As an affiliate, you're fighting with one arm tied behind your
        back.

You can't control the product owner's customer service.

You have ZERO input into the quality of the info products you
        promote.

And you don't have an army of salespeople helping bulk up your bank
account like the product owner does.

You have to make every single sale count. We all know a bunch of
crap is floating around in the pool of info products. When you find
something worth promoting, you want to milk it for everything you
can because you don't KNOW when another good product will be
        launched for you to promote.

This, of course, excludes those who push any and everything - I'm
speaking to ethical marketers here, not scammers.

I took my own personal experience of reviewing the product of a
fellow forum member I did NOT know where we EACH earned over $6,000
in 11 days and I compiled it into a short report for you.

In fact, if you're a product owner - take note: What I tell you
about this product owner should serve as a guideline on how YOU
should act to get affiliates working their butt off for you.

Affiliate product reviews are being MASSACRED all over the
Internet. I cringe whenever I see them.

Do you mistakenly believe an affiliate product review is a sales
        pitch?

        WRONG!

The method I use to review affiliate products can be used via
autoresponders OR in social networking sites. It's not WHERE you
use it - it's HOW. You still convey the same information in the
        same style.

I want to make this affordable for everyone so I'm keeping it under
$15 - selling it to you for $14.95 if affiliate marketing reviewing
is something you want to learn. I have a feeling you'll make your
money back real soon once you start mimicking the way I do these
        affiliate product reviews.

    hey tiffany,

as another poster said, this is gold. especially for a new comer like myself. i love it. this is brilliant out of the box thinking.

if i can ask a quick couple of questions:

    1) how long did it take you to build your list to a thousand or three thousand?

i'm asking because i'm trying to build my list that way and trying to get an idea of what goal time line might look like.

    2) you're a fast writer to write 15 pages in 2.5 hours. how did you do it that quick, typing or dragon naturally speaking? and how did you product a professional looking pdf like that if you did.

thanks again. this is very generous of you.

      Hi Jason!

On the speed of list building that's a tough one because the total # I sent it to was several combined lists, all started at different times. And like in one day I can get 50-100 opt ins and on most days it totals 20ish opt ins.

On the speed of writing, when it's something off the top of my head that I know, I write really fast - just typed up. I use the adobe free PDF converter here: https://createpdf.adobe.com/ (well I pay for it now but you get 5 free per email).

That too, but i was just "warning" WSO owners to use more weird titles to get more people opening their WSO treads.

        Sorry about the mess.

Lately i've seen many WSO's with similar titles, "supadupa does this" "Never Seen Before" etc etc... and it's getting kind of boring. They all look the same. Maybe if they start using weird titles, they can grab more people into ther thread.

So True Tiff. Before the Internet I used newspaper titles to brainstorm ideas for magazine articles.

Examples I thought of from your suggestion: with all the affiliates from R.I., N.C. and Hawaii losing a source of their income (and others affiliates marketers concerned about their future) I wonder if anyone has thought of a report on - "What to do when your affiliate program dumps you?",
"Only one income stream? How to move to multiple income streams without losing your mind or your wallet",
"Change the focus of your online business without skipping a beat", etc.

"How to vote out a politician?" Sorry couldn't help the last one.

And these ideas resulted from your idea.

    Tiff,

Excellent post I think almost anyone could get started creating their own products from scratch in just a few days using just this blueprint. So, I gave you a big ol' "Thanks!"

    Just one thing ...

You mentioned to Debbie that you created a free 5-page report on the mindset behind web 2.0 marketing to get your list started. I'd like to read it. I'm into web 2.0 stuff, plus I'd like to see how you're doing things and maybe get a few tips. Can you post the link for me?

    Thanks,

    -Jeff

I don't think people realize just how easy writing up short reports really is until they actually do it. And the ROI on them is ridiculous if you can sell the crap outta them. Talk about passive income. That's definitely one of my favorite ways to make money online and one that I recommend to almost anyone who asks me how to MMO.

For the people who have trouble writing those 15 pages, I tell them to write a batch of shorter articles, then package them together in a way that flows. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!

I had to laugh because someone Skype'd me and said, "Great now we're gonna have a bunch of WSO thread titles with the exact same title as the main forum title threads" So take Fernando's advice and make it spicy

Thanks for the inspiration and great tips! I'm already taking notes on what problems and concerns people have when I'm reading forums, browsing, listening to podcast, tweets, etc. I have huge collection of ideas as backlog for blog posts, article and reports..

So far the problem has been that I've fallen in love with the idea collecting and brainstorming, and now I just have to take action and get the most out of my notes..

Make a schedule for your short report launched then. One a week (or maybe one a month even). Pick a date, spend all day writing it and "git er done" as some people say lol

This is a great idea, thank you. The best ideas are frequently the simplest.
