G'day Warriors,

I'm a new member here (apprentice warrior if you like). I'm from Australia and also new to the online money making industry.

Firstly, I would like to appraise this magnificant forum and express my delight to be here!

Secondly, I'm building a website that'll cater for kids food and nutrition, and since I don't have much web building skills I was hoping that I could find a domain registrar that also provides free hosting service + WYSIWYG tools that include kids style themes to match the contents of my website.

Would someone know of such a domain registrar or have any other suggestions?

Thanks,
#building #kids food #website

I am indeed going to create a blog through blogger, they are really good and very Google AdSense friendly. I would also like to create a website in addition to the blog.

I think if you are really serious about your online business you need to get paid hosting. It isn't that expensive and hopefully you will start making enough money to cover your hosting cost.

Wordpress is easy to use and you can get free Wordpress blogs but you are a little restricted with the free one I believe for templates. Blogger I wouldn't go with as you can get your blog closed any time for any or no reason.

Honestly - get paid hosting. There are heaps of free templates for Wordpress sites just do a search for free wordpress templates and you'll find them.

Welcome to Warrior forum - great to see another Aussie!

I'm on real tight budget here but if it has to be paid then it has to be paid.

You are right about Wordpress being restricted, they're also very paranoid when it comes to commercializing their free services. They always assume that you creating backlinks to affiliate marketing and trying to fool search engines...etc.

Thanks Harry. It looks good too. Have you been using Wordpress templates? What if I don't want to use their templates, can I upload my own files?

    Thanks,
IM - don't waste your time with free hosting. You will be too restricted as to what you can do and every other muppet in the business has free hosting and you'll look just like them ...

If you are serious about an online business you will have to make a minimum investment. If you've invested $100 (which is about all it takes) then this gives you the motivation to regard your project as venture rather than a hobby. You will have every incentive to earn your $100 back and once you do there will be no stopping you.

WordPress is the easiest way to put up a web presence. It's WYSIWYG and easily customizable to suit your particular requirements.

Making money online is a serious business. Invest in yourself!

    Good luck,

    Sarah

I would suggest getting your own domain name, your own hosting, and building your website using wordpress.

Wordpress will be one of the easiest ways for you to build a website you are in control of, and your own domain name and hosting are pretty much essential if you want to make something worthwhile.

PM me if you want any help. I wrote some instructions a while ago for my customers on setting up hosting and getting a domain name.

    Lewis
