As I start mylife long journey to be a successfull affiliate marketer it seems every known guru or wannabe only sells MMO products. It makes me wonder if there are other niches to be had online. I have no desire to sell anything related to MMO, I think there is a huge market to be tapped selling highend products and services online to affluent people and businesses. Do the Gurus sell anything other than MMO products? Is it possible to be a known guru selling products unrelated to MMO? |

Depends how you define 'Gurus'. The real gurus, yes.

Hey Ron, Most "gurus" started out selling in niches other than MMO and IM. After learning how to sell and becoming successful then became "gurus" because they have the knowledge. The truth though, is that there are a whole lot of people here that don't sell anything to or have anything to do with the MMO or IM niche and they are just as successful. If not more so. I've been here a while and I have seen people come and go and it's amazing how quick some of these people become "experts" just after 3 months and 2 products. I know a lot of people, me included, that have been doing this for quite a while and are not in the Money-Making, Internet Marketing niche. They should have, unless we won't call them 'guru'. What they teach should come from real story of marketing a niche (which is most probably not a MMO/IM niche). As we all know MMO/IM niche is huge market with a lot of competition as well.

MM, it's funny what you think about and how clear things become when you write something out. As I typed the OP, I was thinking along similar lines as your response. Your response confirms my thought. I can only imagine how many "Warriors" you've seen come and go. Thanks and continued success. Ron ![]() Quote:
