Wordpress Custom Navigation Links

INTERNET MARKETING

Ia m looking for a plugin to insert custom links to the navigation of my wordpress blog.

Lets say i want to add a link to forum and some other non wp pages.

i appreciate your help.

You can just use the blogroll and add links there.
Or you can hard code the links into the theme template.

thanks for that. but i am looking for the actual navigation menu, not the blogroll.
doing it manually is an option, however when you have a few blogs, its best to use a plugin

Do you mean in the sidebar where you can use widgets, or in the top nav etc areas where there are no widgets?

It is custom content that you want to insert, whether its links or something else doesn't matter. The easiest and fastest way is just to add the links to the header.php or other template file.

Since most "top" navigation links in WP themes are done by using the Pages (wp_list_pages - that's the template tag in your header.php) you can use several plugins that will redirect your - empty - Pages to any URL that you want.

Look around on the site above... Redirect; Static Page extended; Page links to;
(there are probably even more)
