Newbie Help - Part 2!!

Hi All

After evaluating all of the fantastic help and information that everyone has kindly sent me after my first post, I am now considering the following options :

1) Affiliate Marketing - I do believe after considering my options that this is something which I would still like to take further. I love the idea of writing articles and finding Niches. I have some good ideas and feel creative enough to be able to grasp the concept very well. It would also be extremely satisfying for me to know that I would hopefully be reaping the rewards of my own work rather than relying on others.

Just on this note, does anyone have copies of articles which they have used successfully for me to take a look at?? Any help would be appreciated on this.

I have also set up a Clickbank Account but I am still trying to work out the theory behind sales pages, squeeze pages and list building etc so I have some way to go just yet. At this stage, I also have no web hosting or site.

2) Alex Jeffries - I have stated above that it would be extremely satisfying for me to know that I would hopefully be reaping the rewards of my own work rather than relying on others but there is a slight 'twist' on this.

I have been looking closely at this guy since a couple of Warriors have recommended him to me. Since I am completely new and fresh into IM and have no experience at all, I am considering a Mentor such as Alex Jeffries.

He sets a lot of systems and procedures up for 'newbies' like me and guides us through things. In addition, I can email him to ask as many questions as I like and he claims to teach people every step of the way. I'm thinking why not have someone 'hold my hand' initially and teach me ropes. This would hopefully start making me some money and increase my own confidence in IM whilst having the safety net of a mentor to guide me through things and be there for me if I have any major issues.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this or if anyone would like to share any experiences, it would be appreciated.

3) WSO's - I have considered a couple of these as there are one or 2 which claim to take people from being newbies earning nothing to a marketer earning a six figure income within weeks!! I am rightly or wrongly a little sceptical about these but again, if anyone has any tried and tested, and feels I may benefit, please feel free to advise.

These are the 3 main thoughts I have right now about which direction to take. Any advice on these would be extremely helpful. I am of course open to other suggestions which may be more suitable.

The Warrior members who have taken the time and effort to respond to my previous post have been an immense help and I can't thank you all enough!! I am just so pleased I landed on this forum because the knowledge you guys have is amazing.

I am full of enthusiasm and commitment right now and I am looking forward so much to putting in the hard work once I have my plan of action.

As I said in my original post, I not looking to rake in a fortune with whatever I do. I am trying to remain as level headed as possible and my initial goal is only to make between £50 and £100 per month - anything else would be a huge bonus!!!

Best Wishes

James

    Hey James,

I went through Alex Jeffreys coaching program back in November, so I'll describe my experiences with it.

As he describes in the sales video for his coaching 2.0 course, he does take you by the hand to set up the system. This is so you don't have to worry about that side of things, and you can then concentrate on the marketing and traffic.

It's true anybody can teach you how to set up a website etc, but the advantage of having a mentor like Alex is the motivation. Alex is simply a fantastic motivational speaker, and so passionate about what he does.

Within a week or two of joining the program, I had my very first blog set up, a professional squeeze page, an free ebook branded with my affiliate links and a top quality one time offer (OTO) with a video sales page.

I've chosen to give away this OTO from my blog to build a strong relationship with my subscribers, as Alex teaches.

Not only does he teach how to market effectively, he'll teach you his secret affiliate techniques (email marketing) in the 'Triple Threat Affiliate' module. I haven't quite advanced to this stage yet (he says he earned 10,000 from one email), but I now have focus and direction, and I'm building my business with a plan written down.

Anyway, I can't recommend him enough, because he's literally given me extra freedom from my job and more free time to enjoy my life, which is the most important thing of all.

Now the sun is out here in England for once, I can go out and soak it up

    Hey James

I was a student of Alex Jeffreys .... That was about 8 months ago that started now ...

Since then I have gone on to make $1000's online, In fact I just had my best ever promotion to date last weekend where I pulled in close to $11,000 in 3 days

Last Friday was the last day ever in a job for me also as I have now gone full time online ... I now even have my own major launch next week that looks to be a big sellout

    All thanks to Alex !!

I could rave on all day about how Alex changed my life as its true but I wont bore you like that lol

I whole-heartedly recommend Alex's coaching program and if you can get in todday go for it !!

Be aware it closes today bro !!

Good luck in whatever you do, you are correct.. A mentor is a must IMO

    Cheers

    Hey James,

I'm a fellow newbie to all this, both the forum and Internet Marketing...

Are you really considering coaching with goal of $100 a month? I hadn't even thought about that, but I don't have any spesific goals atm

Seems like you know a lot about things already, so I'd think you could make $100 right now. I'd go with affiliate marketing, e.g. Amazon if you're never done any affiliate marketing, or Clickbank and just go for it - do a Squidoo page or such and see how it goes. Try it on Twitter, or if you have a blog, shoot it out there. Sometimes it's better to just get started and see how it goes, and then redirect if you feel like you need more help.

And maybe you could take a look at Thirty Day Challenge, which I only recently founded. It doesn't cost anything and is targetted to a total Internet marketing beginner. The actual challenge starts in a month, but I've found huge amount of content from previous years of the challenge on Youtube and inside the challenge website.
