MMO Sellers - whats your backend?

Looking at the general mmo model it seems that after you get the sale that your real profit comes from selling other products and services to these same people. I am therefore curious what you sell on the backend.

This really isn't my market so would appreciate your input.

Thanks in advance

It depends on the funnel and the marketer.

Ideally you would have a front end product that naturally leads to higher priced backend products that would be appealing to the same buyers.

    For example:

Front End product: How to build profitable Niche Sites ebook - $17
Back End Upsell #1: Niche Site marketing member site with training, resources, etc - $37/mo
    Back End Upsell #2: Personal one-one coaching - $997

Be wary of back-end products that are required for the front end product to work.

People get pissed off if they buy a $7 ebook and then find out they need to buy a $97 tool in order to implement the instructions given in the ebook.

Solid advice, I have seen this myself after buying WSO's.

Agree also. Any purchase should feel voluntary and doing this makes the porchaser feel obligated to purchase another product and it pisses people off, myself being one of them who does not like this. People love to buy but they dont like being sold to they have to feel like a purchase is their idea to be happy about that purchase.

There are so many niches out there which have good and profitable backend products which you can sell to your subscriber and followers.

    You can look at
    Clickbank
    JVzoo
    Commission junction etc..

The above holds true for most if not all niches. Not just MMO.

Probably the best way to find out is to buy a few of the more popular products, then watch your in-box.

The trick is to make sure your back-end product or service is something that enhances the initial purchase. The better the enhancement the stronger the momentum to continue down the purchase channel.

Introduce a product or service that doesn't enhance the intial purchase and you risk breaking the buying trance.

I've always favored services and subscription membership sites because of the recurring income aspects.

I usually go with some sort of coaching, 1 on 1 or group or some sort of live workshop, that seems to work the best for me, and it's easy to do since you don't really have to create a new upsell for every new front end product.
