Default How to form long term relationship with affiliates?

Hi warriors.

I am currently selling one product on Paydotcom.

Currently 44 affiliates are promoting the product.

However only one affiliate is able to make sales for me. He is consistently making daily 8 sales for me.

I want to form long term relationship with this affiliate as it can be very beneficial for me.

Is it necessary to form relationships with affiliates who are not making any sales for me?

Please participate.

Hi Jaideep,

You need to convey to your affiliates that you are there to help them out.

Offer them all sorts of tools that will make their lives easier and as a result, you will see more affiliates taking a more active interest in your product.

Offer good keywords that they can use for articles. Also, offer any mini-reports or autoresponder content that can help them get the ball rolling.

Check out the Clickbank marketplace and look at the seller's affiliate support pages....There's lots of great ideas on there that you can customize for your own product.

It's difficult to do that unless you have complete control and information about your affiliate program. You'll never have those with Clickbank and Paydotcom.

The best partnerships are done when you actually sit down and design a long-term strategy WITH each one of your partners.

Given you're still playing small I agree with Michael. Give them access to graphics, content, conversion rates and just about everything you can give to help them be successful.

Hey

Do help them with the affiliate tools. Make banners and ads they could use (you could outsource the work if you choose to), help them with their keyword research as this is a very important aspect. Write some articles they can use to promote their site, or you can write reviews and autoresponder messages. Hope this is useful to you.

Should I ignore them? or I should give tools to all of them?

Without a doubt, you should give the tools to all of them. I would bet that a few (if not more) will be very motivated by your commitment to them. Most people need to be pushed in a helpful way.

Keep in mind that if you ignore them and don't give them a chance, you will never give them the opportunity to shine.

I used to be in sales, and I can tell you that I didn't experience great success until my manager gave me the push that I needed!
