How Do I Pay Sub-Contractors Through Payoneer?

I work as a freelancer writing content for websites. I have a team of sub-contractors, and two new members of the team have Payoneer accounts. I do not have a Payoneer account myself. In order to pay these two sub-contractors, I tried to send ACH payments from my bank account to their Payoneer accounts, but these were rejected by Payoneer. Each time I call Payoneer's customer service, I seem to get a different answer about the best solution for paying these people.

Can anyone who regularly pays people through Payoneer tell me how you go about it? Thanks in advance for your help!

    You need to open a Payoneer account yourself first and fund it. Then you can use the "Withdrawal" menu and choose "To another Payoneer account" to send money to your sub-contractor.

    Be sure to keep proper records of all payments for tax purposes. If you're in the US, you'll want to W-9 the sub-contractors so you have their tax ID on file to send them and the IRS 1099's at the end of the year.

      Thanks, Dan. I'm American, but I'm based in Belgrade, Serbia. These two subcontractors are Serbian, so I'm guessing they don't need to fill out a W-9.

        Hi Steve,

        So long as you are sending the funds from a US bank account that belongs to a company, and not an individual, you should be able to send funds to your sub-contractors using our US Payment Service.
