I was reading in another thread that publishing your articles on your site before article directories is "the way to go".

But doesn't Ezine for check to see if an article is published elsewhere before they will publish it on their directory?

If they find it on your site, will they still publish it?

    yes - they will publish it - HOWEVER...

    If the site that is your site does not have the same NAME as the author of the aritcle, you are going to have some problems. They will suspend your account until you can prove that it is your site and article.

    Some people publish articles on Ezines with a pen name. If you have already posted the same article on your blog or site with your real name, you are going to have a problem.
