Is this just a typo or not? If not, what is the principle behind it? This is an adword ad displaying on my remedy blog.

People will always misspell what they're searching for. Why not promote to these people?

When using keywords, you should always throw in some common misspelled variations, they're great for getting extra traffic. Also, misspelled keywords usually have lower competition.

Might that be partly because many marketers have realised that Google usually autocorrects typos, when people search, anyway, and initially shows them the listings with the corrected spelling?

Are you sure those weren't power "trolls"? He might possibly have dropped one or two of them off, somewhere in these parts, on his way home?

How is it wrong? Just wondering why you say this. I haven't had to do keyword research in quite some time.

I think this is a typo. I see no benefit in using it deliberately especially with adwords. If it is in post tag I could agree. Some people may not click that ad because they think the advertiser or the owner of the advertised site is not serious having made a big mistake?

Adie could you not have taken 5 seconds and looked up the word in a dictionary or clicked on any medical website related to arthritis? Why come here and ask members if it's a typo or not? Honestly!!!

I think you may need to take another look at the spelling in the picture.

A clickbank product called "discover your vision" is pretty popular I guess

As a side note, I have a bad finger mannerism....
Without checking, I always type account as "acocunt", happens most of the times when dealing with this particular word..

You completely missed the point of Adie's question.

Of course he knew that it was a misspelling. A misspelling is not necessarily the same thing as a typo. It can be deliberate. (And until Google changed their algorithms to auto-correct spelling, they sometimes were, online.) Ok, I understand that you didn't know this, but there's no need to have a go at Adie just for asking!

  • If you know what it means why does it matter? Why force people to comply with everything if we all did we would be machines, what makes us free humans is why screw up, if we can't then we are robots.

I'm sorry but I don't really get what you mean here. Or maybe my comprehension is that bad?
