How many socialbookmark sites do you use?

Hi,

As we all know there are hundreds of socialbookmarking sites.
But do you use hundreds to bookmark or you just bookmark to the top sites?
How many and which sites do you use?

I use over 200 different sites and over 1,000 accounts ....

I use over 50 all do follow. I also use about 200 ish do follow directory's. I will post the list of do follow directory's I use along with what their page rank is.( Note some page rank may have dropped since the the 4 months have past since I last updated my list and some may have changed to no follow )

I use Reddit, Mixx, Sphinn, Digg, StumpleUpon, Propeller, Delicious.

I've found Digg and Sphinn to be the best.

Does it help to build friends on each of the social bookmark sites, or does it not matter really? I mean, how essential is it?

  I've found that befriending people on BlogCatalog and other similar places is very effective.
  
  I don't have enough time to socialize thanks to my busy schedule but one of my friends did this and he used to get around 1K-2K uniques everyday (he closed the blog now) with this. He says he's had 11K hits on a single day for one of his posts.

I use only digg and reddit, you should try and build up a reputation at a site slowly and participate actively in the community. After that everything becomes easy.

I've never been a fan of bookmarking to multiple sites.

  I too have about 1,000 accounts spread across about 200 sites.
  
  I use Bookmarking Demon to bookmark my stuff to these sites for fast indexing and lots of low-value backlinks.
  
  I also use a number of them with Auto Social Poster for Wordpress to auto-bookmark posts that are published.

I use 10 top sites on daily basis but i got accounts on 100 social bookmarking sites so i submit there after 3,4 days or whenever i get time to but use 10 of them regularly as they are most important and beneficial for me as well.

I started off with a list of about 100 and i now use 20 really good ones and get excellent traffic from them.
