Over the next couple of weeks I plan to start affiliate marketing, I plan to start small with some short term goals.

To keep it simple I plan to sign up to amazons programme only and create a website after some research on a chosen niche (I plan to do this around something I already have. Knowledge on)

Is this enough to start ? Iv read a lot this evening about all sorts that I have no idea about like paying for traffic...

My first goal is to aim for £1 a day with a. Long term goal of £100 in a month. I don't want to think I a going to be making £100 a day and be deflated when it fails.

    Hey Rob,

I'm a big fan of Amazon Associates. Is your plan a good one? Sounds it, yes, from what you've said so far. A few variables may impact your success at this point. If you have some decent start-up capital then I'd say for you to plow that into web design, traffic, content, and education (not in that order, obviously). The education part comes from buying a few relevant books on writing copy, content marketing, webmastering, SEO, and so forth. All of which you can actually find on Amazon. If you're on a small budget, this plan is still very doable, but it may be a while before you see some profit, and since Amazon pay a small percentage a lot of newcomers get disheartened and give up (time and money wasted). You could still go ahead and do it on a small budget, but I'd suggest creating an authority site, learning the above mentioned things, and using whatever extra money you have for WH software to help drive traffic before you can buy it each day. Alternatively, think about an affiliate site promoting offers that sell easy and pay well. Email and zip submits, for instance.

Sounds like you have a good plan and some good advice from Get Rich Methods. Stay focused and don't get distracted by other opportunities or strategies you might read about.

Whenever you see a post or a product you could buy look at it through a lens that asks "Does this move me closer to my goal right now?" If the answer is no don't read it and don't buy it!

      Good luck!

You should start with the basics.

In Internet marketing the "basics" is a sales funnel. Read this thread to find out http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...step-step.html

Once you understand that part of the equation you can then decide on niche (very important) and traffic generation.

You certainly don't need to build a website and chase search engine traffic to start making money online.

Hi, im also new on this.

A 2 months ago i just started my first website.
My plan is to mix product review and some usseful tips in that niche(example: if my niche is laptops, 3 articles will be asus x5353-3c and my informative article is , how to choose best asus laptop,or how to pick best cooling pad for asus x343-3s ).
Seo is important, every signle warrior will tell you the same.
Point is,dont do anything unnatural, my plan is long term and i think its only good way at this bussines.
Use google keyword tool to get some fresh new and lom competive phrases in your niche, then create article about that, try to pick some provocative title.
    Update fresh and informative articles.

i plan on just spending money on hosting and the domain to being... the research iv done on SEO seems simple in terms of using social media just takes time.

What is better to start ?

1.amazon affiliate were I link specific products to amazon to sell with a website based entirely around the product it self

    2. Start more of a blog/information site about sport or gaming and have related adds on the site ?

Which of the above would you say is better to begin with

Surley amazon sites, because you will take some specific product and thats people are searching, with sports blog people will come to read sport news, not to buy anythig.
