Hi

I am starting my journey in LinkedIn Paid Marketing.

Can anyone give me an insight, where to start, what has to be done and the tips and tricks of Marketing through their Paid Ad Programs.

Regards

Lead Impact might be cheaper, I don't have much experience in LinkedIn's paid marketing.

    Hi theIMMachine,

I've used LinkedIn advertising for my copywriting website (not my IM projects) and it's been ok for getting leads but it's $2 per click and there's no way around it, it seems. I probably just need to put my pricing up by $50 and I'd easily cover it but it goes without saying that yes it's an effective strategy BUT if you don't have the profit margin to justify it and convert ridiculously well, then it's best to stay away.

It's certainly a great source of qualified leads as people aren't casually shopping, they're business people looking for solutions, with money to spend.

One word of caution that I learnt the hard way - DO NOT set your advertisements to be on a maximise impressions option, you're not there for branding, you're there to get sales. I did this only because I didn't know initially, not realising that LinkedIn would burn through $20 in ad funding in about 15mjns, with no clicks!

So set your model to be for clicks, not impressions. And most importantly, make sure your ads and images are very clear as to what your offer is about. You don't want to waste $2 per click on curiosity! You want SALES...

    Hope this helps? Cheers, Rob.
