Need ideas for website marketing

I'm partnering on a project with a website, and we need some suggestions.. We need to develop some offers to create a traffic-building campaign.

With most websites, we have a clear idea of what the viewer wants, what their hunger is, and how we can satisfy that hunger. Usually we can create an e-book or squeeze page for a PPC campaign.

With this website we are struggling to find that hunger, that emotional or physical need that the viewer has. What can we offer?

We need to create some offers to capture the reader email address. We need to create some landing pages for PPC marketing etc. But what to offer that is enticing so the reader will respond? What can we use to build a PPC campaign?

When i started out my first promotion i made some promos and discounts for the first 100 people who will purchase a product.Well,the idea is to let customers choose the product they want as fast as they can.

Fred, with a product line as broad as 'women's shoes' I don't think a single campaign will get the job done. You'll need to niche it down further.

One way to do that is by focusing on events...

Shoes for a cruise
Shoes for a wedding
Shoes for a prom
Shoes for a new job, or a job interview
and so on...

Another way to segment the market is by body type.

Shoes for tall women
Shoes for petite women
Shoes for plus-size women

You could even niche it by shoe style...

Sandals
Pumps
Slingbacks
Loafers
Flats
Athletic shoes (further broken down by sport or activity)

I think you get my drift...

Giving discounts on your costumers would be a great idea. And also one way also of promoting the product is create a contest with your product as a prize. If you have a good quality product they could recommend it to their friend and families.

Giving discount really attract people. Advertise on google adword as well

There was a big buzz recently about a site selling sun glasses - they focussed on which celebrities wore which glasses, and then of course sold you your favorite celebs style.

You might try a twist on that.

Don't forget about referrals. You might be able to format a way of offering a discount to customers who refer friends. Or - giving a coupon to a customer for their next purchase and one that they should give to a friend.

Fredfarnes, to be honest with you...if they don't have a hunger or desire in that market I think you should definitely shift your attention to another market. Some markets are simply not very profitable.

HOWEVER, I do have a tip for you. Sign up to AskDatabase and create a survey, capture the data and use it to find out what they WANT.

Reinhardt, have you ever seen a woman in a shoe store? There's a hunger and desire there that most guys could only dream about...

LOL you are right. I know that trust me. My girlfriend is insane about shoes it's scary.

We're on the same page, just in different columns. If you look at my initial post here, I told Fred that he wasn't likely to find a single hook for something as broad as a site selling womens' shoes.

Now if we could only figure out how to package the shoes in chocolate, we'd have 50% of the population on the hook...

Those are recession proof ideas right there. (granted they are a bit general; but its something for you to get started on)

	So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.
