Promoting ClickBank products

Hi guys,

So just a quick question before I get into the whole ClickBank affiliate world. What's the best way to go about it? The different ways I've come across:

1) Set up a website, throw some content on there, put some affiliate links and sit back
2) Have a blog/ website where you add a lot of value and give free reports etc. Build a list and use that to sell the affiliate products
3) Create youtube videos/ use pinterest etc to get people to go to your LP which then redirects them to the clickbank link.

I definitely want to get into it and become an authority in the long run but what's the quickest method you've used to start generating income?

Thanks in advance!

There are many different ways, but almost all the successful ways have three big, important, fundamental things in common (and there are underlying reasons for them, of course), and those are explained here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7110523

    Nope. That won't work.

That can work, if you have the right skill-set and knowledge to do email marketing, and if you also get both the other two things mentioned (in the post linked-to, above) correct.

That's a traffic-generation method, really, not specifically a ClickBank promotion method. Like anything else, it can work if you also get all three of the other things mentioned (in the post linked-to, above) correct (but not so much without understanding those, of course).

PPC advertising (I used Google AdWords). You can get your first highly-targeted, responsive traffic arriving within 10 minutes. Not easy to find anything faster than that?! (It's not a method I routinely use, myself, though: "quickest methods" are very rarely the best, to build an online business. And it has a really big and complicated learning-curve, too - far from the easiest of skills to acquire).

It's all about what skills you acquire, really.

What I would personally recommend is to setup your blog and post really valuable content so that people like you.

Then I would optimize the blog to get optins and build my email list.

Then I would create a sales funnel promoting my products while giving massive value to my list to get the best open rate.

You can use youtube videos to get traffic to your landing pages and also to your blog.

Your blog is the place where you are going to relate to your audience and establish a relationship.

The better the relationship you and your list have the more sales you are going to make.

Make sure you do the selling on the back-end because if you are only selling on your blog people will hate it and stop going to it.

Value > selling, when you give value you will start to sell automatically.

    Cheers

How does "optimizing" a blog get opt-ins? Do you mean by SEO, so that you'll get traffic coming from search engines? That would be a very bad way to try to get the traffic, for ClickBank sales, for the reasons explained here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8659398 .

Again, that's not a good approach to a website made in order to derive income from promoting ClickBank products as an affiliate.

The primary function of your website shouldn't be "to establish a relationship": it should be "to select and collect the email addresses of the visitors likely to become the best customers", because there's no money worth talking about, without that. And the site - however small it is - needs to be designed with that in mind.

Great Advice Alexa, I totally agree.

However if you want to become an authority, you can think different and setup a blog that share all the experiment you do for free.

In the long run you will make your list grows, because everybody want to know how you make money, and you can at the same time promote products that works for you on how to make money.

To promote it you can also think to use other way, like Facebook AD, PPV, pay AD on Forums, etc...

Also write great contents and increase traffic sharing with other blogger your experience, guest posts etc...

It took more time, but it cost less and last for long.

You can do #1 but you can't just sit back. You will have to get traffic to your website by using #2 and #3, writing articles, posting content on forums related to your website subject and advertising like ppc or solo ads.

Great tips so far. But, additionally i will suggest you promote website where you write about REVIEW of the clickbank product you are promoting on facebook, you can joined or liked facebook groups or fanpages respectively that are related to your clickbank keywords. Assuming you are a member or fan of facebook groups or fanpages totally 1,000,000 members/fans, this is an opportunity for you to post and share your Ad Copy of clickbank product for Massive Exposure and Traffic. Try it, it works.

The fastest is to just throw some targeted traffic at your affiliate offer and see how it converts according to the product owners numbers. If you can get your campaign to convert then yeah the wise thing to do is set up your own landing page and capture a email address. By doing this you are leveraging your marketing efforts as well you now have the ability to stay in front of one prospect and work on converting that lead into a sale

You could create a opt-in page, and when someone enters their email have it take them to another page which will be one of the clickbank offers you promote. Using solo ads to drive high quality traffic to your optin page

After a website completed, you must actively promote it for monetizing with ClickBank. If you only sit back with the completed website, you earning definitely will be zero! So think about how to generate targeted traffic toward your website.

Social Media is also a good place to start promoting CB products. There are thousands of fb groups that specifically encourage you to post your products, services or business opportunities which means that you won't be breaking the clickbank affiliate TOS . This marketing technique is very efficient and doesn't require a lot of work as %99 of the work is done through a software that works on auto-pilot, such as mass planner. Just make sure you send the traffic to your own blog/website product review, instead of using your cb affiliate url directly on those groups.

    Hope this helps.. Cheers!

If you're a begginer, learn to make quality videos, and you'll see a faster income than from websites.

These days, with the ammount of people jumping on the badwagon, niche websites are not for the faint hearted.
