Does anyone still write on the WarriorForum Blog?

I'm planning to write an article about my SEO journey from step 1 until I reach my first 100 dollars. Would this be allowed in there? And if so, are the blogs section still being visited or are they gathering mildew and dust? Thanks fellow warriors!

The blog section would be the most appropriate for this if you plan on doing this case study "live", since "follow me" type threads are prohibited in the rules.

Is the WaFo blog section dead? Good question, I can't tell you.

In the years I've been lurking here. I haven't seen many posts on the blogs - so yeah, I'd say they are dead. Why not set up your own third party domain? And blog from there?

Have you actually looked for them? There could be hundreds of posts without your seeing any, if you don't look, surely? As it happens, there have been 7 blog posts made here so far today. But hey ... the day is young.

Hey Alexa, actually I've all day I went about reading blogposts in WF, learned a lot of things and I plan on doing this for a whole week. No such thing as info overload for me, I'm taking this methodical, step-by-step and with a grain of salt.

That way as soon as I start my project, there would be minimal mishaps on the way.
Thanks for everyone who answered my query. May you all be blessed!

NRabosa, if I were you, I'd publish those informative blog posts on the BLOG page of your website if you have one.

I used to, but working on a blog even with a blogspot seems tedious and unnecessary. Just looking for some kind of diary stuff. The basics of web logging before it became a money making linkbuilding scheme. Just want to share my experiences that's all.

Dead or not, for this kind of contents, if you need that people follow you, you should setup your own blog, it is more authoritative.

Not very keen on someone who would "follow" me. I'm no guru. It's just fun to write about experiences that would inspire newbies. I have amassed a lot of knowledge about IM. Though, I admit they are a collective of what I've learned so far.

Making this as an authoritative material would make me sound smug, I would like it as it is, so yeah. That's about it.

Between this and your last reply you seem to just want to write out what you're doing because it would be enjoyable to you...more of a passion project than something that you're looking to go balls to the wall with (as far as monetization and all that).

Assuming I'm correct in that assumption, why not just use the WaFo blog system? It takes very little effort/maintenance on your part. If you want people to read it, I doubt it is impossible to get them there with a little bit of effort. And if you just want it there to look back on yourself, it'll be there.

Yes that's what I'm gettin' at! I wouldn't care much less if they'd go there or not, but if they do (since this is such a big forum, someone is bound to get lost there, hehehe) then they'd learn something a bit about me. Just maximizing my being a Warrior here. Thank you very much.

    You would be way wrong.

I just posted another two days ago. Yesterday there were at least five new posts. I've already gotten five or six click-throughs from my latest post.
