Anything available to train my marketing assistant?

I'll admit. I'm all over the place and can't focus long enough to get much done. Thus the reason i hired a marketing assistant.

Oddly enough, I'm too all over the place to give her a consistent amount of steady tasks. God forbid i have to teach her anything, it could take me days just to email or call her back.

I was hoping someone has created some type of training my assistant could watch and apply stuff as it relates to marketing stuff.

Daily and weekly tasks, checklists and stuff like that. I want to keep her busy but as soon as i hand her stuff to do, it seems like she's finished 2 days later and now I'm sitting there trying to figure out what to do to keep her busy

Thanks for any advice!

  • Have you tried this: Outsourcing training to train your Filipino employees

Basically you just hand them the trainings and have them learn on their own.

    Hey,

Have you tried lynda.com ? They seem to be best employee training resource for me. I am sure they have plenty of videos for Marketing trainings too. We pay just $25 a month and get tons of training every month.

To make sure you're getting value for money and getting exactly what you want, you realy should take the time to learn what to do yourself, and then teach it to the assistant yourself.

It's not defeating the purpose of an assistant, because you only have to learn it once, and have the assistant do it all the time from then on.

Nothing worse than getting to the end of the week and seeing your assistant has done something you didnt want.

I suggest to do videos and write your own course, they will be good also for future changes. With my VA I have had to do like that to achieve real results, don't spend time with online course or training them directly.
