Default Affiliate Cookies

Hey folks,

I have a question about setting up an affiliate program here for one of my upcoming product launch.

During the first week of the pre-launch, I am going to ask my affiliates to direct their leads onto my site (which will be a squeeze page). Since the product will be launch one week after that, the leads that my affiliates sent over will not be buying anything -- hence no sale.

However, I would like to plant (hope I'm using the right word here) cookies into the subscribers' browser so that when the subscribers come back to buy from me 1 week later -- my affiliates who directed them will still get commissions.

But I have a problem on how to plant the cookies. What software allows me to do that?

Hope you guys get what I meant.

Is this called "cookie stuffing"? Hmm...

EPIC AWESOMENESS ==> My Blog. Duh.

What affiliate program are you using?

I ask, because the ability to cookie affiliate links should be a standard feature of any affiliate software.
Check the documentation for yours.
